Salut Madame, Monsieur,
I'll start with introducing myself. Je suis Cecillia Chatel, currently I'm responsable for the wellbeing of our youngest acquisition, Indochine Outpost.
As you may already know, Indochine is the former Gate Construction site previously owned by BMM. When our glorious Navy captured the station, they managed to leave pretty much the entire station intact. After some initial repairs, IDF Shipping is now using it as a forward supply outpost for the frontlines in Tau-31.
Indochine is strategicly placed under the protection of the RNS Guillestre, but very close to the mining sites of IMG and GMS who are mining Niobium and Berylium respectively. This makes it perfectly suitable as an exchange hub between miners and haulers. A lot of Indochine's storage tanks are still badly damaged, so unfortunately we can not function as such a hub yet. However, this is about to change.
We would like to make minor modifications to Indochine Outpost, so that our Storage Extension Ship can moor safely. This ship is one of the Barge class, you might have heard of it. This would essentially mean it will extend Indochine's storage tanks until we can operate at full capacity.
What we require of Solar Engineering is the following:
- Modifications to Indochine Outpost, so that our vessel can be permanently moored. I'm absolutely no expert on these matters, but I can imagine this will require some sort of docking clamps
- Modifications to the Barge. The Royal Navy "seized" the vessel from a Sirian crew. We are still having some problems understanding all systems. We would like Solar to investigate and adapt these systems to Gallic standards.
What would be necessary for you to achieve all this? Can you give a preliminary estimate of the costs involved?
If you are willing to accept this challenge, perhaps we can extend this order to include some more renovations to Indochine Outpost. Ofcourse that's thinking way ahead, but be aware there's a lot to gain for both our corporations.
Awaiting your response, Cecillia Chatel, Indochine Outpost station manager, Ãle-de-France Shipping
I am Beaufort Lacombe, the current CEO of Solar Engineering. I decided to personally contact you on behalf of your transmission. We are interested in a cooperation between our two companies to achieve the goals Ãle-de-France Shipping has with the Indochine Outpost.
I am confident that we can achieve the desired changes within a reasonable time. However, to be able to estimate the costs, we require more information regarding the Indochine Outpost. I would suggest a meeting between our two companies. We would send at least one of our most experienced engineers to take a look at the Station itself and the plans you have with it. Depending on the time schedule I try to take part at the meeting too.
On behalf of the Barge. Where is the Barge located at the moment? If it is at Indochine, or in the nearby systems, we can connect the investigation of the Barge with the meeting at Indochine Outpost. However, sooner or later the Barge has to be brought to Compiegne Space Colony, our Headquarter in Ile de France, for a more detailed investigation. As it was a Sirian vessel we have to change the complete engine system from a H-Fuel based engine to a Oil based engine. Without further investigation I can not tell how much we have to change.
I am open for recommendation and I am looking forward to your answer.
