I was being towed to the local booze store to gather another 18 pack of Steinies by my dog, Moka, when a cat runs out in front of us.
Firstly: My dog goes to chase it
Secondly: I command her not too in mid jump by said cat who darts into trajectory of 40km/h Moka and towed skateboard.
Thirdly: Moka follows said command and keeps running whilst said cat gets run over by Moka and then bowled by towed skateboard with yours truly onboard.
That was fine and dandy. Cat got up and ran and we continued on our journey to the local alcohol wholesaler.
Then, on our way home, we are heading through a patch of road works about 1000 meters long and the temporary speed limit is 30km/h for traffic. A cop nails us for breaking the speed limit on a dog-towed skateboard at 45km/h.
Was the worse booze trip I have done....
Not only that, an impatient old lady gives us grief for using the road above the posted speed limit!
I'll get some pics tomorrow of her towing me... Have to get someone with a car that goes and Sarah with the camera and no cops nor cats.
@ Gytrash.
No fine, thankfully. The cop thought it was hilarious, and saw the irony in it. I told him it cut down my fuel bill and was genuinely quicker. Plus it exercised my dog and it was fun doing it!. And yes, I'll admit it's a crap tonne more fun when you're a wee bit on the inebriated side....
