Guten tag,
Well, is with no small surprise that we found out that, with recent law changes, our modular instalation now is infringing the very laws codex we are sworn to protect.
I have been assigned to deal with this issue, one more file in a long list, a ocean of paperwork.
While we dont consider this change to be wise, nor benefitial in any way to rheinalndic society, isnt Militär role to judge such things, and considering the fact that we are a instrument at our government disposal, we consider appropriate to require an exemption of said changes based on the reasons i will list below:
- The main purpose, from the concept of this instalation, is to provide a quick response semi-HQ for units protecting the New Berlin - Frankfurt junction and gate; moving such instalation to 10k of lanes will turn its reaction time too great, and as any of our corporations can attest, that is a common pirating point, of one of our corporations main resources source, and at current strenght we cannot maintain a full presence all the time in every corner of our space, with our forces considerably stretched after recent conflicts we have been involved, increased Corsair presence in Munich and Frankfurt, renewed Unioner agression in Hamburg, Munich,Frankfurt and even north of New Berlin system, the new separate Hessians cells in Omegas treatening mining operations and now the rising of tensions in our borders. Moving the base away from lanes go against the very reason for the existence of Lichtenberg Station.
- As the size required for the hangars of such units require a increase in size to provide structural integrity, Oberkommando decided to use such extra space for the devevolpment and production of special equipment for Militär units, thus reducing such materials costs on our already scarce budget.
- Permission for the building of the instalation been granted days prior to the law change, without any warning to our organization of the possibility of a law change that could turn the instalation existance pointless.
- Finally, i would like to note, that with mining in Omegas only existing in deep Omegas, far from our instalations, thus being hard to protect, Frankfurt mining fields are now Rheinland main source of resources and income. The risk for rheinlandic economy and society of having this last "more or less safe" source halved, or greatly reduced is, from our point of view too great to be taken without a really solid reason, a reason that this law change failed to present.
Hochachtungsvoll,
Wolfgang Stuhl
