Due to baseless accusations by the Independent Miner's Guild and their inability to admit their own mistakes the once cordial relationship between the Confederation of Freeports and the Independent Miner's Guild has sadly hit a speedbump.
For the present it is the decision of the Confederation administrators as a while that no Independent Miner's Guild vessel shall be allowed to dock at any of the following bases;
Corfu Base
Freeport 1
Freeport 5
Freeport 9
Freeport XV
In addition Independent Miner's Guild vessels will be considered as hostile vessels and be able to be engaged by Confederation security assets after first giving a warning if they enter the No Fire Zone of any of the following bases;
Corfu Base
Freeport 5
Freeport 9
Freeport XV
In addition any action taken by any vessel, whether security asset, affiliated or even by non-Zoner vessels against offending Independent Miner's Guild vessels shall not be considered to be in violation of Confederation law.
The following restrictions apply at Freeport 1;
No Independent Miner's Guild vessel that is not a Trading vessel or is directly escorting a trading vessel (And is within 1,000 Meters of said vessel) Otherwise they shall have the same restriction on the other Confederation bases applied to them.
No Independent Miner's Guild vessel of any kind is to dock at Freeport 1
No Independent Miner's Guild trade vessel is to remain in the No Fire Zone
No escort craft are allowed for trading vessels of the Independent Miner's Guild within the No Fire Zone of Freeport 1 that is larger than a snubcraft (This restriction includes the Kusari Explorer and all Gunboat class and above vessels
This is a temporary measure while we wait for the Independent Miner's Guild to come to the table in a reasonable manner. It will, however, last for at least the length of time stated for the Independent Miner's Guild vessels ban for docking detailed Here.
The Confederation asks for your understanding and cooperation in this difficult time.
Respectfully James Church
Administrator Freeport XV
Director of Foreign Offences
