' Wrote:But isn`t it better to use Jinx` model until we will get something better? Huh?
No. Because we have something better. Using a model which looks ok in a picture but is covered with texture issues, redundant polygons, no effort made to hotbox or hard point in conjunction with a lack of desire to put in the effort beyond taking credit for introducing a basic shape which will be left for others to do at the authors credit both leads to a greater infiltration of shoddy work and the encouragement of the same lack of quality in the next generation of developer. If the author was willing to step up to the quality measures introduced by the dev team this model would be in and the discussion were having moot.

SERENITY!!!!!
I agree, despite the fact the Firefly is an import, it's not an import from a GAME, unlike a lot of the other models that were replaced, so why not keep it?
However, it could use an upgrade for it's textures, it is, as has been said elsewhere, a little plain, even compared to the slab sided monstrosities we call capital ships.

An import is an import is an import.
The textures themselves are more or less direct rips from the Serenity blueprints you can get at various sources, which accounts for it's less than stunning looks.
