I write this today in dire need of Support from our Government. You have no doubt seen the rising crime levels within our fair borders and our officers, while noble and brave, cannot continue to face this threat daily.
To this end, we request additional Funding, and tighter Border securities be put into place immediately. If this threat continues to rise, the KSP will be over run and Kusari itself will become as crime ridden as Liberty, or Worse, Rhienland.
To be put into numbers, we wish a 70% increase in funds, which will go towards better equipment and training for the men and women of the force, and increased recruitment efforts, in which we direly need.
furthermore, the increase in border security would include upgrading Border station guns, increasing possible KNF patrols on the outer territories, and KSP patrols in the Core Systems. Perhaps the Rendering of use, a Battleship or Cruiser guard on the gates of the most affected systems.
Something more needs to be done about protecting our core space, more than is being done.
Chokan Naoya Imai, konnichiwa: I am glad to make your acquaintance.
Of course the forces can always use more money, but we trust the government to know that matters of House security cannot be marginalised. They have shown commitment to this in their plans concerning Rheinland: which would be a huge expenditure that directly benefits us.
We do require more recruits, to run these extra patrols you mention: perhaps additional funds would help, but I believe there is a group forwarding a conscription or mandatory service act, which would doubtless bolster our ranks. Our patrols do cross many systems, including the borders and the core.
As to capital ship placement at gates: I believe the state police has been allocated a number of the "Hatchet" Destroyers from Yukawa, you should deploy at least some at gates perhaps reserving some for incursions by capital class vessels. Our own capital ships are currently assigned to their own fleets, one of which patrols Kyushu which is a system of great concern to us.
I understand you are passionate about the state of the nation, I can only tell you that bureaucracy moves more slowly than we might like.
What do we really need to secure our homeland? More ships, more men, and the time to train them.
May our ancestors smile upon us,
[color=#FFFFFF]Bakuryō-chō taru Kaishō Takahashi,
Kusari Naval Forces.
