Hey guys, first of all i want to say thats a really pleasure for me to meet ppl who still putting so much time in such an old game like freelancer. thanks for keeping an epic game still actual.
Some friends and i decided to reanimate freelancer so we found ur mod. Everything is fine, the installation is simple as hell, works pretty well.
I started a server with the flhood tool and we played some time with a normal power rechanging rate (using the starter ship). but after we bought us new ships (i.e. patroit, we tested like 10 different ship types) we all got the some problem that makes the game unplayable. the power doesnt recharge (or just let us say, near zero), so its immpossible to fight, cauze without energy there is no power for the weapons (obviously).
so i turned some functions of the server off (i.e. that flying at high speed spend energy), but the problem still exist. i searched hours in ur forum to solve the problem, i found heaps of information, but none could fix it.
hopefuly some of u guys could help us, otherwise our freelancer discovery weekend would end in a wicked boring freelancer only one, and that would nearly be a desaster for us (maybe im going a little bit over the top :lol:)
Dunno...but that may be a nerf for incompatabilities with the Ship...So..if you have a lawfull ship with an unlawfull ID mounted...you will get a big power nerf...you can still fly it..but at a cost. See if you get a green message when you undock that states that you have IncompatibleTechnology. If you do..then its just a question of getting the right ID, ship and guns mounted.
