Colonel Josse,
I am baffled to receive this message from you. First of all, I feel the need to express my vast disappointment in your complete lack of knowledge of our installation. A man of your rank should be better informed of proceedings in Gallia as well as be more thorough in researching background and proof before making accusations of this magnitude.
As the Royal Navy still lacks any form of regulation apart from total prohibition on base construction, months after the technology and materials were made publicly available, I personally contacted Grande Marechal Adelaide Roux in order to prevent any misunderstandings. That conversation took place two weeks ago and everything was cleared. Now, over two weeks later, you contact us telling me you were unaware of this installation, while it has been in orbit of Planet Le Mans for said time, clearly displaying our ownership in on its public broadcasting frequency.
Not even knowing the names of planets in our own Kingdom only saddens me even more. Colonel Josse, there is no planet by the name of Maine in our Kingdom. Maine is the system Planet Le Mans is in. I am seriously starting to question the legitimacy of this transmission, as a Colonel of the Gallic Royal Navy can not possibly have made such a grave mistake.
Furthermore, you are accusing us of grave crimes against civilians and the Kingdom of Gallia, which is clearly based on false information coming from unreliable sources. Our base is not unauthorized, nor is it attacking innocent civilians and Royal Navy pilots. It was necessary to organize defenses of our own in the scarcely patrolled areas of Maine to protect our assets from criminals. The automated targeting systems have several redundant checks that react to energy emissions from any object in space targeting the base shield. To put it simple: When the base is under attack, it defends itself against those attackers. Again, this is something that I should not have to explain to you, this technology has been authorized by you already.
Not only is a proper regulation system completely absent, your sources of intelligence are extremely unreliable and unconfirmed. I am shocked to learn that this is how His Majesty's forces guard the well-being of the civilians in Gallia, with the focus of the entire Kingdom being the Sirian Campaign and its logistics.
We of EFL Oil & Machinery and Ile-de-France Shipping demand an apology and we expect His Majesty's Navy to get their act together, as the sum of your errors are a disgrace to the King himself.
Also on behalf of Jordane Francois, Chief Executive Officer of EFL Oil & Machinery,

Our decryption software is having a hard time normalizing your message. We are not sure what encryption protocol you use, but most of the transmission seems garbled. We had to interpret a bit and hope we got it right. If not, feel free to correct us. In any case we encourage you to switch to a less shrouded communication protocol so we can properly read your messages, considering this is a matter of high sensitivity. Misinterpretations could be fatal.
It is a shame you were not informed by your superiors, but I am certain you can see this is not our responsibility, and even less can be claimed to be our fault. This is something that you should be taking up with your superiors, not us. We did our duty by informing the correct authority before we started contruction.
As we already explained, the base never has and never will pose any threat to civilians. I suggest you reread my prior statement.
I am sorry to inform you that a visit to the base is not possible. Francorchamps Production Facility is a high security and high risk facility of EFL & IDF and as such it will remain barred for non-employees of said companies.
