Bretonia Police has been informed about illegal actions of following pilots from the IMG:
IMG|Handsome.Lady
IMG|Mercury
IMG|Peter.Banks
IMG|Zeta-2
I am in charge of the investigation. BMM miners informed us that at approximatly 14:55 SMT in sector 4G in , in BMM owned Gold ore field, in Dulin - ship using codename: IMG|Handsome.Lady approached BMM ships who were mining in that sector and tractored their unrefined ores which were being gathered around their ships awaiting for transport ship. It was obvious that said commodity belongs to BMM miners - it was in their field around their ships. IMG|Handsome.Lady tractored 748 units of Gold ore which he then delivered to nearby transport ships. All of that event has been recorded by the BMM ships. I would like to hear the explenation of these actions and evidance that would possibly solve this case - currently this looks like simple theft which is in violation of Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law. A proper fine will be placed and possible legal consequences will be issued if Independent Miners Guild will fail to explain their action.
If you will admit that the report of theft is true - the fine for this illegal activity will be as follows:
IMG|Handsome.Lady pilot is to pay a fine of 2,000,000c for theft plus 6,600,000c which is a value of the stolen commodity.
All other IMG| ships present in the area were taking part in this illegal act and each is to pay a fine of 500,000c
That would be a total fine from Independent Minders Guild of 10,100,000c plus costs of investigation 400,000c.
The fine of 10,500,000c goes to BPA)Anvil - if you admit that the crime has been done by your pilots - send us the evidance of paid fine.
Also Independent Miners Guild is to place a public, wide open transmission with apology towards the BMM, for IMG pilots actions.
We will await your response untill then the above fine stays.

Greetings Chief Inspector.
I should mention that our miners reported this encounter with BMM and we were ready to contact you in order to assist you with the investigation however it seems that the Bretonian Police Authority wasn't really interested in contacting us to ask for any supporting evidence but it has already made a decision about what happened there and determined the exact fines.
And within a time record, nonetheless.
Therefore, I was wondering if we still have the right to see the evidence which blame these Guild Ships for theft. Thank you.
I would like to make few point clear here.
We didn't make the decision yet - we informed you what fine will be placed on pilots involved if you will admit that said actions took place, I will quote my words on it...seems they weren't as clear as I would like to:
Quote:If you will admit that the report of theft is true - the fine for this illegal activity will be as follows:
(...)
if you admit that the crime has been done by your pilots - send us the evidance of paid fine.
Also I requested that you provide us of your side of the story on this event here:

And yes, you indeed have a right to see the evidance we have been given:
EVIDENCE: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Please try to avoid only commenting on evidance placed here I would like to see counter evidance from your side and report from your pilots on that event. We need to know both sides of the coin to make our final decision.

Thank you for sharing the evidence with the Guild, Chief Inspector.
I agree that the IMG vessel in question was violating the Laws, however you should consider as extenuation the fact that both mining operations were really close and there was a lot of confusion and the pilot in question later admitted that he jettisoned the ore again when he realized that it belonged to BMM. We should also consider that this quantity of ore is insignificant giving one less motive to the accused miner to actually do such a thing.
Regarding the other IMG ships' involvement, I believe that you haven't presented yet any evidence which supports that claim, however if you check the chat/datalogs from the Constable who arrived at the scene, you can clearly notice that they had nothing to hide and even challenged the BMM ships to present the evidence first before they continue their pointless accusing.
Furthermore, the Guild believes that you should also consider that the Hegemons named BMM-Shepway and BMM-Stoned purposefully approached the IMG mining operation and using their monstrous sizes, they tried to ram the smaller IMG ships. Even though they didn't use firing weapons to physically damage the IMG ships, their captains intentionally tried to injure the IMG crew onboard by colliding which set the ships off course and applied a massive amount of force on the crew during that process. Fortunately, the crew of both ships were lucky and got out with a few moles and the damage of a few minor internal equipment.
We believe that the intentional attempt to injure others is a considerable accusation and it is actually more serious than theft. Supporting evidence: [1][2][3]

[29.05.2012 15:05:39] BMM-Shepway: Harass? You buggers started it.
When the Contable arrived.
[29.05.2012 15:08:21] IMG|Peter.Banks: Ye. They rammed us and harrass us
[29.05.2012 15:08:49] BMM-Shepway: Aye. They came into this area where we were working first, stole our goods and insulted us.
[29.05.2012 15:08:52] BMM-Isle.Of.Wight: Whay you expecting when you come and force you way between us?
[29.05.2012 15:08:55] BMM-Shepway: Then they accuse US of harrassing THEM.
[29.05.2012 15:09:03] BMM-Shepway: We have visual evidence o' all o' this, too.
[29.05.2012 15:09:04] IMG|Peter.Banks: We went to one part... and you were 5k away
[29.05.2012 15:09:07] IMG|Peter.Banks: We started mining
[29.05.2012 15:09:07] IMG|Mercury: Where is the evidence?
[29.05.2012 15:09:12] IMG|Peter.Banks: And you came over, ahrrassing us
[29.05.2012 15:09:21] IMG|Peter.Banks: Ramming and doing all kind of stuff to annoy us
[29.05.2012 15:09:21] IMG|Mercury: Officer they need to have evidence in order to accuse us!
[29.05.2012 15:09:22] BMM-Isle.Of.Wight: So f'r the love of god get yer facts straight.
[29.05.2012 15:09:23] BMM-Shepway: It'll be transmissed via the neural net, mate.
[29.05.2012 15:09:25] BMM-Shepway: Don't you worry.
[29.05.2012 15:09:38] IMG|Mercury: Alright, IMG will officially respond there!
[29.05.2012 15:09:47] BMM-Shepway: Damn straight you will.
[29.05.2012 15:09:50] IMG|Mercury: We won't respond to unofficial, unsupported claims
[29.05.2012 15:09:56] BMM-Isle.Of.Wight: Sure lying there way out.
[29.05.2012 15:09:57] BMM-Shepway: You're answering for your crimes, you spineless weasles.
The Guild has faith that the Bretonian Police Authority will live up to it's reputation and make sure that justice will prevail. Thank you.
After gathering all the clues, questioning BMM and BPA and gathering all evidance - including those presented by IMG -Bretonia Police Authority has decided as follows:
1. IMG|Handsome.Lady pilot will pay a fine of 3,500,000c which will cover the costs of stolen commodity and costs of investigation - provide us with transfer evidance to BPA)Anvil
2. From this point - Both IMG and BMM mining operations must remain at 3000-4000m distance from each other. If such incident as this will happen again - the consequences will be much more severe.
3. IMG ships that were not directly involved in this theft won't be charged in any fine due to lack of clear evidance.
4. No BMM ships will be charged with any fine for reckless ship flying in order to damage or harras the IMG ships - not enough evidance to state the damage or if the actions really were intentional.
This case is now closed - all the fines has been decided and their values are final.
