_____________________________________________________ General briefing
We have been watching Leeds with some interest for a while now, and it has been decided we need to assist in relocating the displaced people on planet Leeds as the war with Gallia pushes further into Bretonian space.
This will consist of:
Movement of displaced people from Planet Leeds, Leeds - to Planet Pittsburgh.
There is no time limit to completing this task, but the sooner it is finished, the better for all involved. As room becomes available, more displaced people will be re-homed on Planet Pittsburgh.
Logs of persons relocated will need to be posted in this channel. There is a list below of the required tasks, this will be updated regularly.
Please note:
Time stamps, proof of pick up and drop off are required
Anything else such as interactions, trade lanes that need repairing along the way, scenery, and any other images you may take are welcomed, but not required.
Quote:Displaced persons:
Movement:
Relocate and re-home 50,000 refugees
57,635 relocated.
_____________________________________________________ Current team
There is no set team for this task as yet, and there will be no Team leader, this is to be completed when staff are available to do so.
To be reimbursed any pirating fees you will need to post the demand, and proof of you paying them in this channel. You will only be reimbursed if you post these, with a time stamp on at least one of the images. If you wish to add an excessively demanding and/or annoying pirate/group of pirates to our bounty board, post images of their ship, IFF, and ID as well as the amount you want to see them bountied for.
As you will be transporting people, death or destruction of your vessel is the absolute last option.

(2029 Refugees Relocated)
Rinoa Here. Lemmie start this off by saying that this is the most emotional run I have ever taken. I have not been to Planet Leeds in almost a year. When i saw what those Royalist Gallians have done to it, i couldnt help but cry. the planet is a smoldering heap compared to the glory it once was. so much has been destroyed. so many people who have lost everything. I picked up as many as i could but so many more scrambled to try and get on board. I truly feel for the people of Leeds and wanted so bad to take them all, i just couldnt. the last thing i saw before taking off was a young girl no older than 3 or 4. holding what was left of here favorite toy. she looked up at me with such sadness. her eyes mourned for her home and screamed "why not me?" I cannot bear return tonight. A very solemn ride home indeed...
Catelyn approached me earilier today and voiced her eagerness to help out and do her share in helping relocate the thousands of refugees on leeds. I share her opinion, and that is why we are currently in the process of retrofitting the L-5 Sentinel to accomodate passenger cargo. We should be ready to begin transportation as soon as the retrofit is complete.

Willis reporting here,
Well, where to begin... *Willis paused for a moment, appearing considerably agitated and stressed*
Okay, first rest assured that all 1500 refugees were successfully relocated to Pittsburgh. Everybody arrived safe and well, and have begun the long process of getting on with their lives.
Now then, something quite distasteful occured on our trip, just moments after leaving planet Leeds. There was a... *Willis paused again, trying hard not to stutter* a pirate waiting for us at the Magellan jumphole.
I hastened to meet his demands, and emptied most of the DSE emergency funds available to me, to satisfy his disgusting greed. Anybody who would ransom the lives of innocent refugees is sub-human to say the least. Either that or he was so drunk or high as to not realize his actions.
As if these refugees haven't gone through enough trauma. Thankfully Catelyn was able to keep the distraught passengers calm... *Willis drew a deep breath and continued*
Anyways, like I mentioned earlier, everyone made it back safe and wished me to pass on there sinscerest thanks on behalf of DSE upper management. Their heartfelt thanks can best be summed up by a 6 year old boy called Peter, who drew this picture, which Catelyn was more then happy to upload and attach to this transmission.
With your permission, both myself and Catelyn will be taking a short break from work duties and will return to work tomorrow.
I am pleased to see this has sparked some interest, and the citizens of Leeds are being relocated and offered a second chance. It is very upsetting hearing some of their stories, as you will know.
So far 3529 have been relocated to Planet Pittsburgh, and staff are organising a more permanent solution for accommodation, schooling and work.
Riona, I am well aware this is a hard task to be given, and I personally would like to thank you for taking it on. As difficult as it may be, these people are being given a new life here, and we are doing our best to help those affected by the war both here and on Leeds. Without people like yourself, this would not be possible at all.
Kenzo, I am pleased to see you are willing to assist in this as well. Lets hope many more of our pilots follow your lead in this.
Willis, I am incredibly upset with this news, and believe me, it has been taken care of. You should find an additional 16 million credits on your vessel, 8 million from myself and the 8 million from the Reaver who decided it would be a good idea to pirate you. Feel free to take as long as you need, and bring your vessel to Baltimore Shipyard for inspection to ensure there is no damage. I commend both your own, and Cate's efforts in staying calm when it mattered.
Catelyn, you have proven to be a valuable asset to Deep Space Engineering in this, keeping those passengers calm was a smart move and required quick thinking. I am looking forward to watching you grow within Deep Space Engineering.
I have acquired a hard copy of that picture and it will be able to be seen in our office.
Thank you again for the efforts put into relocating these displaced people, and I hope to see many more given a new life here with us in Liberty.

Catelyn here,
Indeed you are correct, Miss Doe, The Reaver in question did give our money back. And so he should, that big bully!
Willis forewarded the money back into the proper account, and we both thank you very much for the bonus.
I still cannot forgive his actions until both me and Willis recieve a formal apology, as well as an apology to each and every refugee passenger that was on board.
Catelyn here,
Willis and I just finnished another refugee relocation trip. Thankfully, this trip was completed without incident. Many of those aboard had never seen the beauty of the magellan starscape. Seeing something beautiful for the first time in a long time really helps put us all in a more positive frame of mind. At least their immediate future looks bright.
A total of 1627 arrived safely at the planet Pittsburgh docking platform.
Both Willis and myself wanted to again thank DSE management for allowing us both to be a part of the wonderful programme.
A convoy was organised this evening, Iris as scout, John, Kenzo and myself as transports with an additional Zoner under the call-sign Kuraine.
There was no troubles, until we reached the last leg in New York, no lives were lost and all of the passengers are accounted for and making them selves at home.
3679 were successfully relocated.

Kenzo (Also confirmed to have transported an additional 500 refugees earlier in the week)

Now, if you will excuse me, I need a moment to myself.
I will be having dreams about the stories I was told tonight, and they wont be pleasant.

Another interesting pair of refugee relocation trips. Our first trip out went rather smoothly and all 1627 Refugees arrived safely at Planet Pittsburgh.
Our second trip however, cause quite a deal of stress. Immediatly exiting from the California jumpgate in the New York system, we encountered a pair of BDM| Rheinlanders, some kind of heavy fighters. At first both myself and Cate, and the 1627 Refugees had drawn our last breath. But then things got interesting.
Seems the two Rheinland pilots were merely concerned for the welfare of the Refugees I was carrying, and had mistakenly concluded they would be ill treated on Pittsburgh. They insisted I take the refugees to Rheinland. After lenghty Negociations with the two millitary pilots, we agreed to allow the refugees themselves to decide where they wanted to go. About half the refugees volunteered to start their new lives in Rheinland, so under heavy escort we travelled to Freeport 2, where another transport was sheduled to take them over the border.
After the Rheinland bound refugees disembarked, Both me and Cate, and the remainder of the refugees were free to return to Pittsburgh. We all arrived safely.
Again, I can't thank Cate enough for her assistance with organising the refugees, and once again doing her best to keep everyone calm under difficult circumstances. In total, 2440 refugees were relocated safely.
