My name is Richard Connors, President of the Colonial Republic. I am unaware if my nation is known to your movement. However, your movement is very much known to us.
In our close friendship with the IMG, we have come to know of the Bretonia Mining & Manufacturing corporation. Indeed, in our past, we have found BMM ships acting as aggressors against the IMG, using Bretonian Military Pirates, the 'Privateers' as muscle. They have cost lives, and the Colonial Republic as always had a distaste for those who would shed blood simply for profit. We are a nation that believes in causes.
By our associations, certain compatibility of ideals, this presents a basis for a relationship of understanding. Perhaps even limited cooperation. At present, the Colonial Republic is at war. These enemies may not be enemies of yours, but they may not be friends either. Where we prosecute our war will be far away from your struggle, and your homes. However, our trade ships may be closer to you then our military ever will be. With our population having fallen on hard times, in the wake of a government shift - we can ill afford setbacks through piracy by a revolutionary element that need not be enemies.
This isn't to say that we make a demand, or even request, to be left alone while we prosper your enemies, and ourselves. It is very possible that we can enter into negotiations for both of us to benefit. Our military can not afford to make war on your enemies, nor would we ask the same of you. With our economy in the state it is, I dare say our government cannot afford spending to outside sources - everything is going to keep our population alive.
What I can offer is this. Trade. It is vital that our economy and the coffers of the state, be replenished. We can do this through working together. While ships bearing Colonial identifiers may compromise everything we have worked for, I can use a small amount of the governments money to incorporate a very small trading fleet, and begin shipping supplies to the Molly Movement. These supplies will be offered without charge. In return, we would ask that any and all Colonial vessels be safe from your interdiction. This door swings both ways. Molly vessels will not be considered targets by the Colonial Republic - with our current plans to interdict piracy in Cortez, we would ask Molly ships to give a wide berth to this trade corridor. Attacking IMG ships in view of Colonial Patrols may undermine this whole effort - but I understand that the Molly's and IMG have come to their own arrangements on that particular issue.
If this proposal is at all interesting to you, we can begin the preparations necessary to put it into effect.
Thank you.

Colonial Republic
I'm surprised to hear from the Colonial Republic. In the time since your transmission I have reviewed archive reports concerning past relations between our two groups. Though we share common relations with the IMG, the Colonial Republic has a history of firing upon our vessels, even in Dublin. In fact, I have a report from one of our pilots that just a few weeks ago a Colonial ID'd ship came into Dublin and stated it was there to collect a bounty on our Molly pilot. Our transports have been attacked in Magellan, Cortez, and California as well as the Taus. The Cortez corridor is vital to our interests as we supply ships and parts, as well as gold to our allies in Liberty.
Your proposal intrigues me Conners, yet the history of the Colonial Republic is not one that engenders trust and acceptance. Perform your trade operations and show us that the CR has truly turned over this odd new leaf. If you can prove to us your sincerity, we can perhaps speak of expanding cooperation at a later date. Rest assured, however, that the slightest bit of hostility encountered by your people towards the Mollys will be dealt with swiftly and surely.
