Commenced our operation Zoner Education in Omicron Zeta, as per Guildmaster DeVirgo's orders. These ... people, and I use that term loosely ... must be taught a lesson to not work WITH our enemies.
In any event, the Athena was delayed in leaving Dabadoru as Guildmaster DeVirgo had some last minute business to perform onboard, so we traveled to Zeta by ourselves, and not with the rest of the fleet. We arrived at this nest of traitors to humanity, and commenced bombardment operations after giving fair notice and warning, and being ignored.
Bombardment operations proceeded normally. There were assorted rookie Order pilots that attempted to intervene. They were completely unsuccessful in deterring us. Several disinterested bystanders passed by as well, and we explained that we were teaching these people a lesson to not work WITH the Order.
Eventually, someone showed up that took offense to our operations. Since this ship carried both Guild pilots as well as Nomads, this ship was ordered to drop his pilots.
He refused to comply, and warning shots were fired. He commenced firing upon us, and we successfully rescued our pilots, as well as recovering the Nomad remains, from his wreckage.
And amazingly enough, before he died, he confirmed that these Zoners, anyway, are working with and allied to the Order. Foolish Zoner.
Obviously we know that other Zoners will not do so - the OSI has been working for us for months, and the TAZ have always had diplomatic relations with us. Therefore it appears that once again there is some offshoot variation of Zoners that feels compelled to ally themselves with our enemies - and thus become our enemy.
We sent a sub-space message to Guildmaster DeVirgo on Dabadoru, and then left the vicinity of the station before their Order allies could arrive to trap us - we saw them coming and assumed a tactical retreat. We'll assume a hidden position and prepare for further operations upon your command.
