Ever since I moved, I was stuck on a cheap home DSL connection, good enough for gaming, but with horrific upload and download speeds at 2.02 Mbps and 0.04 Mbps respectively.
Now I switched to a private company, whose server incidentally is located one floor above me. Good, everything is fine? Nope.
Direct cable for now, no router or anything and....that sudden realization that all of my ports are blocked. So, since I have never had the reason to talk to the internet people guys before, having my parents do all of that, I have no idea who should I call to resolve the problem.
And...what the problem is. Should I call them and tell them I have troubles hosting a server for a 2003 space sim game?
Well, anyway. If someone knows how to change the port Flserver uses, give me a heads up. Disco of Disco uses custom ones, it seems, so I know for a fact that it is possible.
