I cordially invite you and a delegation of your peers to the Tri-Nationale War Convention, which will be held at a neutral location for all parties involved with this venue.
I request that hostilities be stopped between all warring parties for the duration of this venue to ensure the safe arrival and departure of all delegates involved. Hostilities will commence between warring parties upon the safe return of departing delegates the following day.
I would also request that delegates bring their own security detail of no more than two of their finest soldiers, who are to provide a joint-security detail with other security members.
More information will be provided once all parties have agreed on a neutral location."
My name is David Aias, Ambassador of the Colonial Republic, and I will be attending this convention. In this capacity I will be representing President Richard Connors, and the Colonial Republic, with full clearance to speak on behalf of the Republic in matters of war.
Our interest in attending is purely out of curiosity. We make no promises that the Colonial Republic will come to any decision regarding our wartime operations, nor expect the Monarchy of Gallia to agree to any of our proposals.
Regardless, you can be assured, we will be attending. I will be bringing myself, a single aide, and two bodyguards. I will be travelling aboard a specially modified Colonial Civilian Vessel - a Celestra Transport - Transponder name "Colonial One"
Until then.
David Aias

Colonial Republic
Merci for the quick response, Ambassador, I am happy to hear that the Colonial Republic will be attending the convention. While not to sound arrogant, you have my blessing to bring along an aide with your personal body guards. I have also notified forces under my command about the modified Celestra transport.
May we find light during these dark times,
Au Revoir."
The decision has been reached that we do not feel the Colonial Republic as a whole is... mature enough to attend the Tri-Nationale War Convention due to their recent actions in attacking a diplomatic delegation that was in orbit around Java Station, of which I was apart of, in an attempt to contact the IMG Leaders to discuss possible meeting locations.
So, until your military forces aren't trigger happy... children... no negotiations, only Valors.
This channel will remain open for you to reply to.
Au Revoir."
The Colonial Rem...Republic, may put forth an explanation and apology for this, before any further action will be taken. If one is to run a convention, then, at the very least...one must be willing to put the weapon down and talk. On the topic of how our forces act, I apologize if there was no indication that they were part of a diplomatic envoy. We are trained soldiers, and identifying as diplomats while a part of the fleet is under fire is...not our first response....however...

[03.08.2012 12:03:45] GRN|-Julie.Bonheur: Monsieur of the Ore Scraper! *She raises her voice.* I would like to speak to your commanding officer.
I apologize for Bonheur's words to you.
Now. An apology for initiating hostilities with forces who, quiet honestly, were not there to cause problems, is all I ask, as well as an explanation...and any counter-evidence to the contrary. Talking with Captaine de Valois, he stated the Valor was there by a fluke...and we can resume this war convention. Because. In war, especially one such as this...a bit of dialogue...and mercy...goes a long way during the final battle.
I await your response.
Addendum:
I know have learned more, and I henceforth apologize for the decision by the Orgueilleux to initiate hostilities against you...but.
Quote:[03.08.2012 12:06:14] GRN|-Julie.Bonheur: I came here to speak to the IMG not get involved in petty wars.
She made the on-site decision to defend one of the King's Royal Naval Vessels. A decision you would make. But it seems a fluke and miscommunication has caused this to evolve int a full-blown diplomatic incident.
I ask if we may move past this...and go on with the Convention. After you put forth the apology I have...requested.

Grande Marechal of the Royal Navy
My name is Roger Anders, and I am a (and the) Commander of the Colonial Military and one of those in charge of the 49th Firebird Squadron which has been... causing trouble for you.
While your ships may have been on a diplomatic mission, from the outside it might not seem so clear. From my reports and your own, it seems not even the IMG were aware that you had come to talk to them.
Acting superior, treating our ships with disinterest and making demands of the Guild sounds like standard fare for any Navy pilot, never mind a Marechal like Miss Bonheur here. Diplomatic intentions were not made clear upon initial contact. Unlike say, the Zoners for example, the Republic is not as open in all its dealings and your initial transmission was redirected to our government officials and military leaders only. Therefore, not everyone has been informed that Gallia is seeking to speak with us through more diplomatic channels than your Valors’ forward guns.
Speaking of which, the presence of such a large vessel as the Orgueilleux hardly shows the most peaceful of intentions. Whether it was a ‘fluke’ as you claim, or was ordered there, it still represents a valuable part of your war machine and is thus a priority target for my own forces. The following logs are what I have from the incident:

[03.08.2012 12:06:17] GRN|Leon.de.Valois.: My sincerest apologies madame, I shall hold my tongue.
[03.08.2012 12:06:20] GRN|-Julie.Bonheur: If you want to kill something. Let's go.
By your own admission, it was your own captain who engaged our forces, which led to the logical drawing in of both our sides’ forces, as backed up by the evidence above.
The Colonial Republic, having left before the... mess that became of Sol, has maintained adherence to the old UN’s humanitarian conventions. If Marechal Bonheur still wishes to talk terms, Ambassador Aias and his contingent will be there at your Convention.

This was amended to my last transmission, and stands.
While we will still end up engaging in hostilities...I can say this.
We can at least bring some honor to this war. It has been senseless enough. Thank you for accepting and re-affirming that you will come to the summit. Marechal Bonheur will be awaiting you at either Shasta Orbital Skyhook or Java Station. The location is to be determined.
That will be all.

Java station is very familiar to us, given our long ties to the IMG - that was before they sold us out to you.
Normally I would opt for such a location, but security would be an issue there. Its of considerable proximity to your navy, including a number of heavy battleships, and does not fit the criteria for a "neutral location"
The Republic has good terms with the TAZ Religious Order, however I believe the monarchy of Gallia still wishes to see its most notable diplomatic figure - Dr Henry Holiday - executed for supposed attacks against one of the royal family. I do not believe the TAZ Religious order would consent to Gallic presence on one of their holy sights, as long as this is the attitude of the Gallic Monarchy.
I suggest the neutral station, and location, of Freeport 4 in Magellan - assuming Bretonia would allow your ships passage to it.
If not, then the neutral location of Freeport 6.

The Bounty on Doctor Holliday has been removed and hasn't been wanted for quite sometime now, and the Breton delegation has requested the use of the Orbital Skyhook as a neutral location, I will still need to speak with Doctor Holliday, Fleet Admiral Piett, and the IMG representative for a final solution, let it be known that the Skyhook seems to be the place of interest."
