"To anyone who can hear me! This is acting-captain Lt. Hannah Lloyd of the Shetland Transport Rhondda Valley designation BRS-3214. We have taken critical reactor damage and have suffered fatalities, I say again! ...!" An explosion is heard "Arrgh!" *cough cough* "Damnit... we can't stop it now... the reactor coolant has just given out, we were so close to making it. To whoever picks up this message, during our transport run to Newcastle we suffered a catastrophic overload of multiple reactor components. We got stranded a hell of a long way from home... we started dying... one by one... even the captain..."
Another explosion is heard, the signal begins to degrade
"This is it... Bill... I'm sorry, I should have gone to Liberty with you... I lov--- Another explosion is heard, this time the signal goes silent.

"You can't fly... you've been grounded. Get out of the ship, and head back to the ranch. Take some time off and rest." Austin was muttering to himself as he slowly began flipping various switches in the seat of his Paladin, "All systems are a go."
His eyes slowly glanced up towards the video feed as it turned on.

After that the transmission ended. Austin raised his eyebrow and reopened the saved file to play the transmission once more to make sure he heard everything correctly, "Looks like I begin my search in Newcastle... then expand the search to nearby systems. Tau's are going to be a pain due to the war, so I'll check there after Newcastle. Well, this should be fun to explain to my doctor when I get back, going to try and not pull anything fancy."
