Konnichiwa respected Guildmasters,
although we have a little knowledge of your illustrious history we have not formally offered any discourse from the Kingdom of Gallia.

We now feel that this is an opportune moment for contact to ascertain your predisposition towards the Gallic nation. Our limited knowledge does not suggest any trade opportunities but of course you may have a differing viewpoint.

We feel this is opportune mainly because, with increasing frequency, our ships are meeting GMG transports traversing the Taus. Obviously we wish to fully inform our pilots of the status of GMG as we would hate some hot blooded Gallic to start a diplomatic incident by accident.

We also presume a Guild of your standing is fully aware of recent Gallic talks with your neighbours and it is just polite and common diplomatic courtesy to keep you informed.

We look forward to your reply.

Bonjour again,

we are boosting this transmission due to the distances involved.

We are having contract enquiries from GMG space and would be grateful if some clarity as to the position can be achieved.

Au revoir

We will boost again just in case, and retransmit to KSP and Kishiro neighbours who may be able to transmit via their relay stations in neighbouring space.

Konnichiwa!

We have rebroadcasted this on our broad range satellites. Hopefully they'll get it now. Perhaps a comm outage in Okinawa from the recent heavy construction.

Nevertheless, we retransmitted.

Sayonara for now!

Naoya Imai, Kusari State Police Chokan.

Konnichiwa d'Allemagne-sama!

I am Guild Master Taro Katsuo, and I will speak on behalf of the Guild. I'm sure our lengthy history would only prove to bore you, d'Allemagne-sama, but I can give you a run down version of it. The GMG is the primary supplier of H-fuel to the four major Houses in Sirius, as we have been for centuries. We do not care to bother ourselves with the pettiness of House politicians and their warmongering. We do not pick sides in any inter-House conflicts, unless we're forced to be directly involved. Rheinland can attest to it due to the Eighty Years War, as they're still experiencing the aftermath of it, even a hundred and fifty years later.

We harbour no ill feelings towards the the Kingdom of Gallia, but like you, we recognize only few if any business or trade opportunities. To my understanding, your ships and stations are not powered by H-fuel, which would be the Sirian standard for engine propulsions and to generate power for space stations and facilities. From what we've heard from our partner, the Kishiro Technologies, Gallic space is indeed enormous and you power it all by crude oil. I can only begin to fathom the potentially untouched reserves of vital gases in your space, one that we've made a business of to mine here in Sirius.

Transport captains representing the GMG travel all over Sirius to deliver the fuels that are so needed by just about everyone, everywhere. Our transports often suffer pirate attacks as a result of our precious cargo, but despite this, without us unimaginable numbers of innocent civilians would suffer all over Sirius. It is because of this that we do not allow ourselves to pick sides in inter-House wars. We will, we must find ways to keep the veins of Sirius pumping with the blood that we mine.

And hai, you are correct. Shimura Yokitara, the Prime Minister of Kusari, did send us a formal invitation to join the diplomatic talks on New Tokyo some time ago. We've yet to send a Guild representative however. But rest assured, we will, when we're ready.

Guild Master Taro Katsuo,
Sayonara!

Bonjour Guild Master Taro Katsuo, konnichiwa

You are indeed correct regarding Gallia power technology and see you have reached the same conclusion, that at present links with your esteemed miners and their products are beyound our current envelope of operation.

We have neveer scouted for the gases you utilise and if any exist they would appear to be remote and scarce as our charts have no records of these deposits. I am sure that at a future date if you wish to explore then we would have lylle problem escorting your vessels to potential areas, however as you surmise this is again not a current demand or apparent need.

We also harbour no malice towards GMG vessels undertaking their normal duties and see no reason why they cannot continue unmolested by Official Gallic forces when traversing the Tau spaceways. I am also sure that our lawful patrols would aid any of your vessels if the need arose with pirate attacks. In the curent climate of non-agreesion we presume any of our trade vessels would have a reciprocated stance if traversing the Sigma systems?

We leave you in good stead and hope you are, and continue to enjoye find yourself in rude health.

Au revoir,
Thibault d'Allemagne

Konnichiwa d'Allemagne-sama!

It's a shame indeed that our technology in many regards are incompatible with each other. The potential fuel market in your systems could have been extremely profitable for to both the GMG and Gallia alike.

Though perhaps because of your unique engine propulsion solution, many of the gases that we so eagerly seek might remain untouched in your systems, just as you said. We would surely like to send out exploration wings into Gallia in search of new gas reserves in the near future, naturally while being accompanied and escorted by Gallic officials. And if we find nothing of value... well, it wouldn't be the first time that we've went into dead ends and returned home to the Sigmas with empty hands.

And you are correct again, d'Allemagne-sama! Gallic trade vessels are most welcome in GMG space. I can even recall seeing more than a few IDF transports bringing valuable goods our way over the past few months, hai! Our Paramilitary forces will make sure that Gallic shippers can continue conducting trade in our systems without the fear of suffering from pirate attacks.

Guild Master Taro Katsuo,
Sayonara!
