So I just did a level two mission and got placed next to the Rogue Destroyer in New York. I had four level nine Werewolves with Usiels show up to start with, followed by another four Bloodhounds. Luckily I only had to deal with the one guy else I'd have been screwed, but I did end up using all of my nanobots.
I had to switch from a Defender to a Rhino because I simply could not maintain the power due to the weapon compatibility mod. Seriously, trying to deal with a shield on a level 11 NPC in a CSV and with a dozen batteries, is extremely difficult when you've got five Justices, a Debilitator and a mere 1350 power units.
This is extremely imbalanced and I fear that it is the kind of thing which can cause a new player to not bother with this server. Congratulations to whoever screwed this up.
There is alot of easy missions out there. Go "DISCOVER" them. Also just take kill base missions, run in, kill base, run away. Even a starflee can do those. Just learn to dodge.
The base ones are my preferred choice, especially if I've got a torpedo. But if somebody has only just arrived on this server and they take a level one mission in a Defender, only to be greeted by four Werewolves with Usiels, they're in for a big shock!

Easy missions should help you get in the game as fast as possible and not to be needed to discover them especially for new players that are unaware of how imbalanced they are
oh, and base kill missions sometimes require you to take out all the base defenders as well

A Defender with five Lavablades should have absolutely no problem on a basic mission. But even with a Recruit ID the power core is down to 75% and that hurts, even more so when up against a class five shield. Once the player has some decent money then it's much easier, but from boot it ain't so simple. Only five minutes ago I saw a guy in a flea trying his damnedest to kill two level five Outcasts, I'd wager that he was doing a level one mission, but there was no way he was ever gonna complete it. In my opinion, this must be fixed because it will have a serious impact upon the decisions of new players when it comes to choosing a server, or even whether to play the game at all.
