Description:
Koala Mayant, as he is called, is a man shrouded in mystery. Flying an Ahoudori Space Explorer with a mix of Solaris turrets and Cerberus turrets, he seeks certain artifacts that resemble magatamas. He claims that these artifacts posess some great power that could be harmful in the wrong hands. There are four of them: a GREEN one, a BLUE one, a BLACK one and a RED one. Currently, he is in posession of the Blue Magatama that he found on Omicron Alpha. The whereabouts of the Red and the Black one are unknown, but it is rumored that the Black one is drifting around Omicron Minor and the Red one being somewhere in the New York system. The green one however has been spotted on a man called Charles Red and he has continously been stalking him and intimidating him to get him the Magatama with no bloodshed, in vain that his traumatic loss gets the best of him.
Little is known about his backstory. He claims to be from the Omicrons and seems to have a grudge against Corsairs. He is suspected to be the murderer of Abella Red and Richard Red, Charles's sister and uncle, respectively, although he very rarely kills people who he deems to "not deserve it". He cruises around Bretonia in hopes of catching Charles off-guard, and sometimes forces communications with him which are rarely successful. Although his age and DOB are undetermined, he seems to be in his early 20's.

The Katana Blade, Koala's "Ahoudori", is not the usual Space Explorer, it's a whole house. He keeps large amounts of Water, Oxygen and Food Rations to keep himself alive and rarely docks anywhere unless he has to re-stock. Although he has stopped by New London numerous times in search of Charles Red.

"Oh god, who is it now..."
[font=Lucida Console]From: Arin Williams
To: Koala Mayant
Location: Freeport 11, Omicron Delta
Subject: You're wanted.
"What does this *bleep* want?" Koala hesitates in opening the message at first, but innocently opens it, as if he never had second thoughts about it.
Hey, Kalan.
You might want to know that the BPA is aware of what you did. I just heard about it while cruising around Bretonia. Watch your back. It wouldn't be of our best interest if you got captured and they get the artifact, now would it?
I'd lay low for a while if I were you. Don't mess this up at the last second. Did you even get to talk with Red directly yet?
To which Koala responds:
Arin,
I know how to take care of myself, don't worry. Those guys can't do much.
And no, I won't mess it up. I promise. Just give me a bit more time. This one's much harder than the last magatama I collected. And besides, there are 2 more and we have no id--
I know where the black and the red magatamas are. But for now, let's focus on recovering the green one. Besides... wasn't it yours?
Eugh... whatever. I'll get it soon enough. And yes, I did talk to Charles. But it was only for a minute until the transmission was cut off, I had to mess around with some of the communication vulnerabilities in his Percheron. I'll see you later.
Koala cut off communications with Arin and holded his blue magatama stuck on a necklace whilist looking at it. He promised to himself that he will "be done with all of this charade soon".

Subject: I found the black magatama!
Arin,
Your leads were... a bit off. It was supposed to be in the Omega 55/58 systems but I found it in Omicron Gamma after blasting some Corsairs, quite far considering I had to sacrifice my ship AGAIN to not only challenge the high radiation levels on 55, 58 and Omicron Gamma but the infested ships were also quite powerful. I don't even know how I got out of there alive, probably just blind luck. Let's not jinx it just because I got lucky about three or four times in a row.
In any case, we are one step closer to morph the artifacts into one. At this rate we'll get all of them very soon. I hope. You could start telling me where's the red magatama.
The guy either lied to me or had his intel outdated. It was supposed to be somewhere in Liberty, but I already searched left and right around it and never found the god-forsaken artifact.
Wait, you went there by yourself?!
Don't worry, she's safe. I'm already at the Freeport. And concentrate on getting your job done. Arin signing off.
Upon hearing these words, Koala was baffled at Arin's audacity and collapsed on his metal desk. He did not expect him to go this far into desperation, but this case just sparked enough thought into him to turn this case around...

To: Koala Mayant
Location: Planet Gran Canaria, Omega-49
Subject: I moved.
Kalan,
I've moved to Gran Canaria at Omega-49. I thought it'd be easier to deliver the artifacts for you there. And yes, Miss Andrews is with me. I also found the Red artifact. It was in the wreck of a Bounty Hunter VHF at Omega-3. Once you get Charles's magatama, our mission will be finally complete. Given that you won't lose your magatamas again due to your carelessness. Heh... not that that didn't get you into enough trouble anyway.
What do you mean...
You know exactly of what I'm talking about. Arin signing off.
It had come back to him at that moment.
LSF Agent Kalanark Yakermato and his wing, in a recon mission to Rheinland to provide intel to a Libertonian assault fleet - on that fateful evening, the wing was decimated by a group of RM fighters, causing the Green magatama and Kalan Yamato to be deemed to be lost forever.
But that wasn't all. Yamato managed to eject before the last second and, for his surprise, his escape pod was completely ignored. All communications were completely cut off, Yamato simply ceased to exist to most of the Sirius Sector. Accepting his fate, he decided to eject the magatama he had with him through a small slot in his cockpit and assumed he was going to die there. This artifact was later recovered by a young Freelancer named Charles Kenneth Red, not noticing a Guardian escape pod probably two or three kilometers from the magatama's location.
He closed his eyes. LSF Agent Kalanark Yakermato - KIA(796-818 A.S.)
If the Erie Incident was the beginning, that would be the middle...
He was recovered by a Zoner explorer team - A Conference and 2 Eagles - that found him 5 hours after his apparent demise. Found barely alive, he was heavily deprived of oxygen for about 2 hours due to the small size of the cockpit, not being able to contain much Oxygen, and most tanks had already been used during the mission. One of the medics aboard the Conference was no other than Arin Williams, who was already known for collecting Alien Artifacts.
After being completely treated properly, an hour later, Yamato opened his eyes once again, laying on a bed inside a room of the sickbay inside the Conference. He had an oral nasal oxygen mask on, with a heart rate monitor close by and there was Arin at his side, talking to someone else.
He's opening his eyes! Great Scott, I thought he was done for...
Nnngh...? Hold up, Kusarian, let me take yer mask off... there ya go. Kalan let out a gasp of relief. But he was quickly alarmed.
Where... where am I? Who are you? Where's the-- Relax, ya big dummy. You're inside of a Conference Gunship. We're also being escorted by 2 fighters, headed out for the Freeport in Omicron Theta. I'm actually impressed at how fast you healed. That still doesn't answer my question. Ugh. I'm Dr. Williams.Arin points at his ID card on his medical vest, that read: "ZONER IDENTIFICATION CARD; NAME: DR. ARIN WILLIAMS; DOB: 02/05/785 A.S.; Profession: Medic; Issued: 18/01/817 A.S.; Expiry Date: 30/08/822 A.S."We found you drifting around Stuttgart space, and we decided to tractor you in. And who could you be? And what did you want to say earlier? Huh... Zoners...Yamato mumbled to himself, while sitting on the bed, half covered by it's sheets.I'm... Kalan Yamato. I'm a LSF Agent. My wing got shot down by a few RMs-- wait a second, my wing! Did you find their escape pods?! Ehh... I'm afraid not, Mr. Yamato. Either they were rescued or... the worst. Arin said this while scratching his beard, and Yamato collapsed on the bed.Ohh man... this is bad. Not only them, but the artifact aswell... What artifact? This subject particularly interested Arin, being a collector of Artifacts. However, Kalan, being a LSF Agent, could be carrying something - an artifact that he had never seen before. Well, uhm, it's shaped like a 9... and it's green... and quite small. You could wear that as a necklace. Hmm... interesting. I'll see what I can do. I am an Artifact collector myself... Arin's hunch was right. He already knew of the magatamas and their power, and wanted to get a hold of them.
To be continued.
