We've had a few private communications while I was looking into buying the base "Indy Weapons Store" and so far we've managed to get along and even done a bit of business together. It seems my newly purchased station has been threatened.
I wanted to advise you that due to the threats, I've asked my contracted security to keep a more watchful eye on Indy and the surrounding area. Now, since my peeps and your peeps tend not to get along, it's cost aplenty for arranging the truce in that area. I don't want anyone getting trigger happy just because there's some extra activity.
Also, you might want to tell your own people that there might be those around who might want to see the station gone. The girls are gonna be arriving next week once the renovations are done so let your boys know the bar and brothel will be open soon.
Hello Miss Thacker. Chris Connors, squadron leader of the 15th Pursuit - You've probably seen us about.
Coronado and Cortez is the 15th's operational area, and we have standing orders to engage any pirates, outcasts, or hostile targets of opportunity. For a mostly fighter squadron, I can say with confidence that we've done a pretty good job for the most part. Since Coronado is the home turf, we've got some rear fleet stationed in the area too - warships, for example.
Depending on who your "Security" is, depends on whether "getting along" is even possible. Barrier Station is home to both Mandalorians and Reavers - both of which get paid shooting at Colonials, and both of which we don't like much either - something probably having to do with how much they enjoy killing our people. If your asking us to leave them alone while they defend your station, then that's fine - just tell them not to shoot at us.
As for the 15th, and the Colonial Military in general, helping to defend your station - that's just a matter of course. Not more then two weeks ago, we splashed two Outcast dreadnoughts attempting to destroy it. Killing them wasn't out of any sense of philanthropy - it's our job.
Either way, we'll keep an eye out for any bad guys gunning for your station.
In return, we ask this:
You DO NOT allow docking for any Outcast or Gallic Royal ships - that includes both Gallic Royal Navy and Gallic Police, as well as any gallic royal corporations.
We already have Barrier station as a free open base for dozens of people who like to take potshots at us, we wont have your station become the same. Were putting an awful lot of trust in you.

Mr. Thacker,
I'm not exactly certain who you are or why this matter would be relevant to the Guild. Unless this installation is built in the vicinity of one of our stations, or in the way of one of our trade routes, there's little reason for us to get involved. We're miners mainly, not some sort of law enforcement. Our escort wings see mainly to the safety of our civilian ships and facilities. As long as that safety is not being threatened by your station's presence, I see no reason to consider it a threat to us. The Colonial Republic may feel different however, as they are an actual nation, but I'm sure they shall voice their own thoughts on the matter.
The kind of truce you speak of is not unlike the ones existing around some freeports.
Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild
