As you know, I am the Executive Officer aboard the New York Class gunboat "Bunker Hill", as you are also no doubt aware...the Commanding Officer, Vice Admiral Rachel Baker, has had numerous...encounters with those horrible alien creatures called...Nomads, or entities controlled by them.

After the most recent incident with the Admiral I..just can't do this anymore. I simply can't trust that she's okay...and I can't trust a military that would allow her to keep her position...I can't do it. I'm not a deserter, I'm not a coward...but I-I'm leaving...

I've already left my military ID, my flight wings, and my Captain's bars in my old bunk aboard the Missouri.

Good evening Miss Ericksson.

Regardless of whether you wish to be found or not, I have a number of questions that I think would be worth you answering. I can understand that the majority of situations involving the nomads are something rather less than "nice". I have more than enough experience of the Nomads... More than anyone in their right mind would want to have.

Now... The situation with the Vice Admiral is one that concerns me on various levels. First on a human level. I regard the welfare of people as important. The welfare of Miss Baker is also of considerable importance to the Navy and Liberty as a whole.

If you would provide a description of the events and actions which prompted you to leave the Navy so abruptly, we may be able to act upon this information so as to resolve the situation without further harm coming to anyone involved.

However acting without information in sensitive situations such as this is risky and dangerous. Whatever you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
