COD:1 had a mission where you had to go to the bottom of a dam, blow up some AA guns, then get back out of the dam. Long hard slog. Anyway there is some german voice playing over the loudspeakers the whole time, and I have always wondered what it was saying. I'm guessing its the equivalent of intruder alert, but really, its been bugging me for all these years

The airport escape is the brutal one

+1 for the airport escape. Really enjoyed that one. My most favorite is (almost) all Russian campaign. Especially the first mission in Stalingrad.
