The original guys were Hideyoshi's guard (a few centuries back) and since he was the last legit Shogun, they still protect his honor until a Shogun can be restored. Since he never lost power in a manner they see fit, he's still Shogun. I suppose. I don't really know, actually, but that's my guess.
yeah, I guess. Symbolism can take a big role in issues like this, so I'll just let it be. I don't know much about this, and I'm sure they know everything.

Speaking of knowing everything, it looks like Kuraine is reading this thread!
Anyway, yeehaw for names that make sense. Better than those [RM] guys, I mean what is up with that? Whoever heard of the "Rheinland Military"?

The Royal Guards are what is now the Blood Dragons. They want to basically reinstall the Hideyoshi dynasty, as they view it as the rightful ruling family of Kusari. Of course, they've been waiting rather a long time already. I suppose a few more years won't hurt. So yeah, Sovereign pretty much got it all right:)

I feel special now. The all-knowing Kusari authority says I got it right! Yippee! Probably a good thing, too, since I have a freelancer with *fun* political ties in Kusari and soon will have a Hideyoshi's Guard character...
