Chris Roberts, the Creator of Freelancer and various other games has just put up a website that has a countdown timer to what seems to be the next game he is going to announce, and it's been about 10 years since he last made a game. http://robertsspaceindustries.com/ sign up and get ready for a reveal, I doubt it will be Freelancer 2, but any space sim from this man is worth a look.

Sounds great, too bad it can "only" be a spritiual successor though. Apart from the gameplay of Freelancer, I just adore the lore, the Vanilla one at that.

To be honest, it might just as well be Freelancer 2, nothing's been said for sure, except that the final product will be somewhere between good and brilliant.
