Ingame options allow you to set controls to turn hud on and off. I believe it's under Options>Controls>User Interface

Or something very close to that. Should be a quick find Wink

ok just checked that, it gets rid of hud but i also dont want to see the ship inside or out

Turn off the cockpit in the options then go into first person.

It doesn't drop down with the standard Discovery installation. So if it's doing that when you have the HUD turned off you'll have to uninstall the mod you have that makes it drop down like that.

I dont have the HUD turned off, I was trying to freeload on this thread
