As we have already met, you already know about me. I am Daz Tango, Father of Tom Tango (whom you have recently employed)
25 Years ago i was a chief investigator based on BPA newgate. It was a fulfilling life, knowing that i was doing my part to improve the sirius sector. I knew it was a dangerous job, but a happy one, flying my old cruiser (soon replaced with newer cavaliers). I got used to the danger, too used to it, and eventually that caught up with me. In a surprise attack by the corsairs on kensington shipping platform, we were scrambled to assist, but they were simply too strong. Eventually my hull buckled, and i was forced to jump into my escape pod. In doing so i shattered both of my hips and lost vision in my right eye.
I was forced to move back home to planet leeds, where my hips were replaced, but nothing could be done for my eye. It was then that i met my wife... and after 3 years had not 1 but 2 sons. One rose to fame, top of his junior classes, the other wayward. It's only more recently that our family has begun to function well again.
after many medical advances, and much studious research by the staff on cambridge research, i did eventually have a successful eye replacement around 5 years ago. Remarkably I'm better than new. Modern medicine eh.
I've since dusted off all of the old flight training manuals from my police days, and wish to re-enter a career in space-flight. That's where you come in. My son Tom told me about his new job, and explained how hard you and daniel work on the family business. He seems comfortable now, and he truly does respect you as a boss.
I yearn for the high life again, but i cannot go back to Bretonia police. That was a different generation, and the ensign pilots now are headstrong, reckless. With your permission, may i fly under your banner? I know experience goes a long way with transport pilots, and i'm tough as old boots in a fighter/bomber. I'd be happy to fly both for CBL. I have a few pennies in savings from my police pension, so setting up ships won't be a problem.
I expect Mr Yannick Corentin will understand my position, only he has a base too. A base which i would love to work from. Just tell me what you need, and i'll be happy to fly with you.
