No....The Corsair was grouped with the Outcasts in this battle. They are to be considered infested, I do believe, since they are obviously deprived of their mental facilities.

My outcast brothers, I kneel before you, on bended knees, asking for forgiveness, for putting such a valuable piece of machinery on the edge of destruction. Being new to this game, and to the outcasts, I was willing to do what I could to prove that I would be a great addition to our brotherhood. As I was coming into Omicron Alpha, I caught wind of a raid that would be happening in New York, how could I resist? I had the best intentions mind you, I did not wish for my brothers piloting strike craft to fall in combat to Liberty gunboats and destroyers, simply because I was not sure if I could join them or not. So I threw those thoughts aside and joined my brothers in the raid. We claimed many lives that day, but with every life we took, I realize that I was putting my ship and my crew in more and more danger. Now that I understand the massive error in my ways, I come asking for forgiveness, so that I may once again, fly with my outcast brothers, and continue to spread the orange dream. I hope you understand why I did what I did. I simply could not let my fellow outcasts go to war without a fighting chance against larger ships. I really did this with the best intentions, I just did not know that it was against the rules.
