one liner RP dont count as RP... such as you hitting the Jersey Today.
saying one line then opening fire...
I didnt even catch your demands....
Oh btw I was Tradewinds....
then instead of dealing with the escorts you make yoru kill and run??
how -- not impressed I am
We are really not out there just to kill you. The point is that your cargo ship had a gunboat escort behind him, and a bomber was on his way. There is no such time of playing e.g.: dice games in that situation. According to my experiences, everytime when you see me -but correct me if I'm wrong-, you are calling for help at every existing comms (from in-game police to skype emergency channels, etc..) leaving me much less time to act and RP with you (due to I wouldn't like to wait your backup).
After Jersey jumped, I repeated my demand again, just to make sure that he has enough time. The reaction was that he started to shoot me.
About the targets > In every cases our primary target is always the cargoship (1. because I didn't have chance to hit the bomber 2. I've never seen a pirate, who targeted an escort ship, letting the profit run away.
Also I think the reason for the imagethat "we're only just taking care of you" because no one else is giving that much of publicity to our meetings -I mean they are not using the "backup" feature of the game that often-. We also have some agreements with some traders who is flying in Kusari space, but they only accepted it only if I won't make a forum post from it. -But I did screenies from in-game *chuckles*-

One thing your forgeting is that Morbius started this in NT,, you joined in in Kyushu...
and yes once you joined in... we was already in a fight..
I have no issues when you when you joined... My issues is with Morbius who is out to do nothing but kill IC. He never once turned to his attackers. Never once made a demand. Used a one liner in NT before opening fire... check your logs...
there has been many offline convos with morbius from wesker and IC.. in all of it he has mentioned several times his agenda... to kill IC transports -- not to pirate them
so until we see otherwise ... we have to assume this
and so far all we seen his is uncloaking and direct attacks.. no RP.. or dropping a line then attacking... no demands -- then he gets you guys to join him on the attacks .. and you believe he made demands...

I guess you never seen Rorry Pirate then... too bad there is a good pirate

what more to say....
I'm sory but you missunderstand it all i was in New Tokyo and in Kyushu during entire interaction i was just cloaked invisible. Let me remind you that being invisible dosen't mean i'm not present there since i was in the same group i was participating with entire interaction...
And he did send you a demand alright you just didn't answered on it you just jumped my friend and opened fire in Kyushu that's all...

Not all pirates are the same, not all characters are the same, not all people are the same we all have diferent logic and tactic...

Yes, Rorry is really a good pirate. But they also not flying in transport ships, with transport turrets, but with bombers/fighters/gunboats which can be a countership to bombers. I doubt that we should even try to kill a bomber with transport turrets.. It would be very irrational decision and 100% death. Instead we rather try to deal with the cargoship and escape from the escorts. In that case we have more chance to survive. Even if it's not much, still better than walking into our corpse.
But if you promise me, that your cargo ships will wait and twiddle there till we try to deal with the escorts, so be it, but in that case we must use the similar ships what Rorry do, and also we may loose all the profit -even if piracy is mainly not for making profits, but still some millions are always handy..-. In my view it wouldn't be logical.

In my view Morb and Visp are two pirates who want to make a statement more then they do profit.
The fact that they use transports means they need to make a demand fast, and get a fast response, and disappear once again before the cavalry shows up.
In the situation that just occurred I was myself the IC| bomber escort and at first thought that there was little to no RP before the engagement. But after finding that Morb had made a demand in New Tokyo and that the IC| trade vessel had then JUMPED to Kyushu (which is where I showed up) that the Role Play had already been settled. Morbius had made a demand and the IC| vessel subsequently RAN (by jumping). With escort vessels closing in (myself and the GB) it makes sense that they took the option to cut their losses and get out. (by destroying the trade vessel as fast as possible then cloaking)

That being said, perhaps a little bit more elaboration to this would be helpful in their piracy's. A few presets can better give the trader the sense of urgency that you as a pirate feels. You can do this in three simple messages:
That you have a very small window in which to operate and that they must remain perfectly still in order to ensure their survival.
Then give them the amount of cargo/credits to which you need.
Then one last message to tell them that their time is up, and to make the payment while their ship is being shot in order to survive.
---
So in order to be a successful pirate yet still have your fun I advise these three things.
1: Have messages ready (either in your mind or in presets) to quickly convey what you need and how it is to be done.
2: Be sure that you have demands that CAN be met (failure to do so can end in sanctions).
3: Always give the trader time to respond before going into kill mode. And be sure they know what different responses mean. (meaning letting them know that if they move they will forfeit their option to live)
Being quick and clear with your intentions IS possible to do, though it may take some planning. But it is important that your intentions are known to the players so that they don't "create" in their minds your intentions for you (in this case many people think that your only there for the blue messages). Yes, kills are part of your entire persona, but your character's persona itself is to be known as notorious pirates/killers, and that without a rapid response your victims will die. So like I said, your intentions must be quickly and understandably conveyed. Do that, and you will be much more understood by the players on this server.
