Hey guys I just want to get something straight about choosing guns for VHF and such and how it affects the targeting system. And also maybe an input about what gun types would be good for me.

For example: im not that good with 8.33 guns but when i mix it with 2 deb sheild busters it really makes a difference. funny it SHOULD technically screw up with the aim but weirdly it doesn't. o.O

Secondly: my ideal gun reload speed is a 4.00 reload (so if i do all debs for example i hit quite good) but when i mixed 2 debs with 4 codename phoenixes i couldn't hit the hull down so well. Any suggestions on why this happens? Or is it just me and that transition from one speed to the other that screws up my aim and not the actual crosshair?

Being said that i hit minirazors more than 50% of the time in some cases so i figure my aim isn't bad.

Any advice would be great! Thanks! Big Grin

Different refire guns doesn't change your crosshair lead location, different speed guns in the same group do.

What speed debs were you using with the Phoenixes? If you had the 750m/s kind, that'd make thing off, for instance.

True... but missiles can backfire and the run out eventually, unlike GB and cap missiles -_-

When pairing up guns tough do the speeds and range have to be exactly the same? What a good number of phoenixes to use to actually make sense? I'm using 4 now and the hull damage is quite small per shot O.o

Range is not that important, but the crosshair assumes the average speed between all your weapons. If these speeds differ too much, the shots from the fast gun can go ahead of your target, and those of your slow guns behind the target. The closer you get to your opponent, the less this matters.
