Well Ladies and Gents I said I would post the story of Black Squadron, here it is.
And Note This is somewhat in between the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War.
The Sirus System was explored breifly explored by people from the revamped Outbound Flight project. As they returned, they had taken a little boy whom the Emperor decided that he would become his new apprentece. And from then on he became Darth Wolfpack. About a year ago, a Nomad invasion force was encountered in a galaxy far far away (the Star Wars univers ;) ). But the Nomad force was betten back due to superior tactics of (back then) Admiral Met2085. As the Emperor realized, that the Nomads werea a grave threat to the Empire if they we allowed to recover, and send a much bigger Invasion force. After finding out that the Nomads had come from the very system the 2nd Outbound Flight had explored, he tasked his apprentice and the newly appointed Grand Admiral Met to erdaicate the Nomads once and for all.
The Imperial Fleet had entered the Sirus system though a system call Omicron Major, where they engaged and defeated a small Nomad Fleet, but as they retreated into Omicron Lost the tide had turned. Awaiting the Imperial Fleet was a massive Nomad Fleet, so numerious that it was too many to count how many battleships they had. And thus The Imperial Flett was ripped apart, almost completly destroyed , except for a few surviors, the Black Squadron, Grand Admiral Met, and Darth Wolfpack and his apprentice Darth Viper. As the Fleet began to fall apart in retreat, the Imperal Fleet was able to reach the jump hole to Omicron Delta. With the nomads hot on their tail several native human ships engaged the nomad ships to help buy the survivors time. (It was later on that they found out that they had died, and also that it was a combined fleet of Corsairs and the Order ships).
As what was left of the Imperial Fleet reached Yaren, another rear guard action was done, this time inflicting heavy loses on the Nomads pursuers. But they were able to brake throught the combined Corsair and Order fleets, and heavyily damaging Yaren. But as the Imperial survivors reached Omicron Minor, they had passed the Orders flag ship the Osiris and her sister ship the Isis. It was here that the Nomads were betten off, but withteh great loss of the Osiris.
The Black Squadron began rebuilding the fleet, withthe help of the Order and the Corsairs, being able to use Order technology of cloaks and the shipyards of Tripoli, to rebuild the Black Squadron Fleet. The Black Squadron has continued its orginal mission of finding and destroying the nomads, but now withthe assistance of the Order and the Corsairs.
