In my defense Leo Goodman was my mentor and set me up with my ship, so I would think he could vouch for me being online. And my faction will obey all the laws of Liberty. Thank you for giving us a chance.
Hehe you don't need a defense, I wasn't accusing you of anything, I'm not always online and could have easily missed you. But anyway, just keep it cool, sort your members and RP out, and listen to advice when people give it, it can turn out good and pleasurable for both the community and yourself.
' Wrote:Why don't you join an official faction first, to get into the rules of the server? This would anyway be the best way for every new player. Roleplay, earn trust... and then maybe think of starting a new faction.
He said he's been with the SA. (Unverified at this time.)
Good luck with your proposal and making the 500 million to go along with it.:)
Also, please don't think that if you are Ageira, you have any right to be in Alaska, you may have been an SA before, but that was as a different character, not your current one, so they know nothing about Alaska, and, please, get your people to know the rules, when I beat one of them and another ran in a fight from my Hacker, they didn't leave they System, also, try not to mount dual Sunslayers, they are useless:P
Also, please, like said before, go anywhere near Zone 21 or Alaska, I'll have to guard those locations a bit more carefully now. (On my SA of course)
Also, please, use only the Havok Mk2, and civilian Ships for your fighters.
Also, can you please tell your people not to Shield run, I mean, c'mon, it was 2 on 1 (Me being that 1), They were running around not shooting until their Shield was at full, this isn't against the rules I think (Unless you cruise away), but its really annoying and only makes their defeat longer (that was Spike, one of your leaders doing that)
Quote:2. Why not use the Ageira Technologies name for an Ageira affiliated faction instead of something like Incom, which means nothing to anyone else and will constantly have to be explained? What does Incom mean and where did the name come from?
Xoria, Incom Corporation is a shipbuilding company from the Star Wars universe, and they make X-Wings and other Rebel Alliance fighters. So i'm just going to say a big, fat NO to using the name of a Star Wars corporation or a corporation from any other universe, in fact. For the record I don't really like that we have Battlestar Galactica groups, but that's another kettle of fish entirely.
I applaud that someone actually wants to create an Ageira Technologies group but honestly, you'll get a lot more kudos, appreciation and co-operation if you just called your group Ageira Technologies.

Actually, to be fair to him here, the upper echelons of Ageira Technologies would know about the Alaska system, as they had to create the jumpgates in and out of Alaska. They would know nothing more than its location, however. But Ageira would be able to enter and would know about it for two main reasons:
1) They let absolutely NOBODY else handle their precious lane technology, not even the military or the security forces.
2) They have control and the means to access any jumpgate ever constructed using their technology and can bypass any codes inputted. Its unrealistic to think they never left in any backdoors to access their own technology. It is likely this is also how the Hackers gain access everywhere so easily.
So yes, Ageira would know about Alaska but if they went in there (beyond performing maintenance on the jumpgates and asking permission to do so first), they'd still be shot on sight. They wouldn't tell anyone or risk pissing off the military by going there though, since they'd lose all their massive military contracts etc.
What Kuraine said is so true, And the jump gate might have been placed in Alaska before all the bases got built. At this time, there was nothing to hide but now Alaska is a top secret system. If you want to get in for Gate mainenance, you would be EXTREMELY watched by all authorities.

Actually, I'm guessing that it is indeed the same character, since he signs his name as "Aiden Pharar, CEO"... while he should not mention Alaska at all, since I see no reason for you guys to be near there.
@Shield running. Not against the rules, and on many occasions it's a valid tactic. Especially in a 2-on-1 fight... one dodges the fire, the other shoots at target.
And a word of advice: Listen to Xoria. Spike has been sanctioned twice already... think it's wise to put him in a position of power?
I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone that Ageira Technologies, Incom's parent company, has decided to bring Incom completely under the Ageira banner. All assets of the Incom Corp will be assimilated into Ageira. I will remain CEO, Wolf.Starr will remain CFO and Spike Speigel will remain CSO. The new name assigned to the newly merged company will be changed to AT&E or Ageira Technologies and Engineering, and our ships will fly under the [AT&E] banner.
I would like to take this time to say that Spike is a very good friend of mine and although he has been sanctioned, his sanction was in another account. In this very thread is someone who in one account is a Hacker and in another in the SA. If that isn't an oxymoron I'm not sure what is. I do not appreciate people challenging my judgement. I have full belief that Spike will do his job without causing any trouble.
So look forward to seeing AT&E ships flying around
Encountered 2 Incom ships yesterday in Omicron Gamma. When asked what they were doing, one said he was going to go hunt for Nomads, the other ignored our hails and proceeded to Omicron Theta.
You guys aren't welcome in Corsair space and the OPG will be killing you on sight.
