Das Wilde fly ships that are as "human" as an relatively newly converted Borg is "organic". Though something similar (identical in game terms) to the Wrath is used, have you seen the Scorpion? More of a hybrid, more on some ships than others.
However, yes, most human ships can use the Nomad Cannons- those are not used on Das Wilde ships (they drop, the ships fire the uber lasers) but were designed to fit on human ships. See mission 11 of the SP campaign for clarification. However, they weren't designed by random humans- they were designed to integrate by your lovely blue and purple friends, and aren't exactly the safest of things.
I am Immune to nomads and I made modifications to salvaged technology to integrate nomad guns to my ship.
You hate me for using nomads?
Ships
<strike>Metroid- VIPER MKII - Licensed for nomads in both liberty and bretonia houses
Cargo Metroid- CSV - Unlicensed (I'm not gonna license my Cargo person)</strike>
Gonna start anew...
To those who think Nomad weapons are too good and should be nerfed:
Yes, they're decent, but only because they're class 10. For instance, look at a Kraken II or Black Widow.. they near the NEB in damage. A class 10 outcast/xeno 4.00 refire gun would blow away a NEB without a sweat.. the only reason why they're so popularly used now is because of the high damage and low energy consumption.
So, the solution? Put in class 10 weapons for factions.
There is no need for class 10 factionised weapons, as there are class 9s are better than codenames/nomads. While nomads might be efficient, they are hard to aimed with compared to the Kraken II, and are not as effective against the majority shield type. The Buckshot is one of the fastest fighter weapons, plus it has good damage and range.
In comparison, codenames and nomads are harder to aim with, often use a lot of energy and are OORP for many characters. Which one would you choose?
