So what is YOUR control setup?

I was wondering about this. Nearly all of us have made changes to our freelancer controls. Starting from weapon groups and turret steering and ending with allowing much faster interaction with less chance for error in a firefight. What is YOUR odd setup?

Backspace for chat
Mouse 3 - CD
O - scan cargo

TSing:
IJKL - turning
U - reverse
; and : - Afterburner and toggle Afterburner respectively
N - Fire ze missiles!
- and = - Zoom out and in

Shift+E - Cloak
Shift+L - Lights
Shift+K - HUD
Shift+W - Cruise

I have it setup so my right hand is always on the mouse 100% of the time, and my left hand is always in the same place 100% of the time. ESDF for turning (keyboard flight and turret steering), shift ESDF for strafing instead of turning. R for reverse and tab for thruster, and also shift R and shift-tab in case I need to use them while strafing. I have things like tractor beam, CD, mines, etc on the other left-hand keys. I have some infrequent keys on the right hand, things like light control are ctrl-L because I dont mess with that while fighting. Do not move your hands while fighting.

All my games are setup for ESDF instead of WASD. I'm an old-school touch typist, and view WASD as the end of civilation

F - Shield Batteries
G - Nanobots
O - Scan

(I've changed it so I don't accidentally invite someone instead of scanning them)

Mouse 1 - Mouse Flight
Mouse 2 - Fire
Mouse 3 - Tractor Beam
Mouse 4 - Thruster
Mouse 5 - Fire Weap Group 6*
Mouse 6 - Engine-kill

Mouse Wheel - Increase/Decrease speed

* I always activate the torp slot on 6th weap group, so based on what I use on a ship, Mouse 5 changes between Fire CD and Fire MR/Torp.

And since the turret steer, I've added these:

I did only few changes:

Capslock.....thruster (i am not the only one, you can recognize us by using too much capitals in chat )
Tab....toggle thruster on
1-6...wep groups

turret steer... numpad ( 84562=wasdx, 1=z, 3=c, 7=thruster, 9+closest enemy, /,*=wep groups ) - problem is when you press numlock by mistake in fight

you use ESDF? Wow... like, wow... I never really thought of that. I currently use the WASD-setup, and it severely-limits my key-diversity. Guess I'll switch to ESDF from now on.

Light controls and the like are on the F#-buttons, since they're infrequently used in combat. I use the normal- and shift-keys for combat-use, ctrl-keys for things like navmap, and alt-keys for go-to and the like. I chain-fire by pre-setting up weapon groups, I have separate keys for Mine and CM. Weapon-group for CD, but since being introduced to ESDF I might just have another separate key for CD.
