Freelancer discovery exact date & help with naval ranks

Is there any track of the exact date in the discovery universe? I'm trying to make a little bio about a ship, and i would need the current year, and month if possible.

Also i would need some.. liberty-ish names. Yes, i know i could just click on random npc's and start writing down names, but i would prefer some community given names for them, as i dont really want to see a random NPC with my ship commander's name, or my radio operator. The names are for the crew of a gunboat (lawful).

I'm pretty sure the date is 816 A.S., although it might be 817. Not sure...

For Liberty-ish names, google for "most common names in America" and see what you find. If you do find something good, post it in the "Naming Resources" thread I started awhile back.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Thanks a lot about the timeline thread! I knew i had seen it somewhere, but couldnt find it.

Now, ill try to find decent names in google, thanks about referring me to that other post about Naming Resources, had not seen it either. (Yes, it seems im now blind. Bleh. Too much low-quality graphics)
