Hi Comunity,

i was wathing Galactica and browsing through the web for some nice wallpapers, and than i found this
concept viper.

If this ship isn?t allready in Disco, i think it would make out a great bomber or vhf.

What do you think? Any shipbuilder allready talked to the guys that made this ship?

That does look sweet, however the days of import ships into the Discovery mod are long over.
We have some great ship designers that create wonderful Freelancer ships.
4.85 build of Discovery will bring in a lot of new ships, don't forget to contribute a few
Starfliers for the Xeno Battleship.

We're having a hard enough time keeping what we have, besides... for a bomber we (CR) would prefer something resembling a raptor more. A CSV is close, maybe IMG's own CSVs?

Anywho, if that is an appliable 3d model on that pic, not justa render, then who knows, light bomber class - 2 guns, a VHF's agility and enough power to launch a Snova.

Agreed with Patrick... We've got enough straight up imports, it's 2 steps away from becoming a BSG TC, and 1 step away from becoming a SW TC.

More imported ships are pointless. The Viper MkI and MkII both look like they should stay in BSG, not be dragged over kicking and screaming into Discovery, same with the Battlestars, and the Marauder... Or whatever it's name is.

Mmm. You ever play the BSG game for PS2? Not the best game ever, but they had a Colonial bomber in there, though it didn't look like that.

However, I must agree: no more imports.

Ships are like bibles. And Disco the religion.

Getting more and more ships into the mod from other mods (religions) ruins our own mod, killing what it was origionally intended to be. We have our own modders (prophets) who can improve our own mod, we dont need others to do it, and ruining the whole while their at it.

Disco's modders win. Disco's developers win. Disco wins. Yus?

If a bomber for CR (IMG) or IMG (CR) (is there a difference?), then something more FL-ish and less BSG-ish... Just like the IMG Gunstar, or the new Alby.

Only time I'd see a viper bomber if a line of vipers come in as a new line of ships that can fit with the lines e have already. We would have to make a bunch of ships with the same architect n and I'd prefer we don't import anymore. The only Imports id like to see are those from the freelancer intro. I have some nice ships I've drawn that would be nice to be put into the game if someone can 3D render them.
