Rules Wrote:7.1 Each character is allowed to carry no more than 99 items in the cargo hold. Multiple stackable commodities and ammo count as one item. Violation will result in removing items from hold (all excess items or all items without exception).
So let's say weapons are named Item1 through Item100.
If on a character I have 19 of item1, 19 of item2, 19 of item3, etc... up till 19 of item99, no rule has been broken?

Yup each stackable item counts as one item. having more than 99 in your hold screws up the database or it can if too many ahve it same with the credit limit.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
Each non-stackable item counts as a separate item, as does each stack of stackable items- so, as I understand it, the total number of item icons must not exceed 99- in addition, you may not have more that 20 of a a single type of non-stackable item.
That's my understanding at least, can we get an admin clarification?
Sometimes on my smuggler I'll stack up a bunch of generic crap in units of 1, and then haul a few thousand units of synthetic marijuana. Forces the cops to scroll through all that junk to see that i'm smuggling =P

Am I? Because according to my first post, I have 19*99 weapons in my hold. That's a buttload.
ADDED: Ah, crap, you know what? The rule is very clear. Sov's right, 99 total. Reason I brought this up was because the in-game message said differently... I'll try to get a screenshot of it next time I see it.

Since weapons are non-stackable items, if you have 19 copies of each 99 items (considering they're all weapons) than you'd have 1881 non-stackable items in your hold, infringing the rule. What you could do is have say:
99 / 19 = 5.21... Nineteen copies of five different non-stackable items.
Now, if all those are stackable items (regular commodities as food rations and the sort) , then you're good. What you can't surpass is 99 different types of items (regardless of their type) and/or 20 copies of the same non-stackable item.

The reason this rule is in place is because any more than these item limits can cause server crashes and player file instabilities (so i'm told). It isn't because they want to be pedantic and limit what you can actually carry simply for the sake of limiting it.
No more than 100 items in your hold, full stop. You can have any number of a stackable item, such as 5,000 units of water, but you could not have more than 100 unmounted single items (including different cargo types), and no more than 20 of each type of unmounted item (but Gronath already beat me to it XD).
