On Xenos

Okay... I'll put the following questions in a monotoned bullet-pointed format for everybody's sanity.

1 - Xenos using SN Cannons
In theory, shouldn't the Xenos not use 8 million credit ORDER tech?
In addition, why not use the torps? I'm sure we could all care less if they suck, we are here for RP.

2 - Xenos in a Taiidan
Dare I say "Wtf?". Simply put - GMG ship. GMG is nowhere near Liberty, not to mention foreign .
Foreign + Xeno = ... Lets not get into what it equals, it just DOESN'T work. Between rednecks and the info card saying they hate foreigners... *cough* Yeah.

Sure. Let's limit them to Hawks and Starblazers at the absolute maximum, too. After all, we're here for RP.

And last I heard, they plan to switch to the new civilian bomber when 4.85's out, there's issues with the current one.

SN is considered 'generic' but IMO yourr right that xenos are too poor for such a piece of hardware. Probably worth more than their ships.

Sorry, I truly am. I deeply appologize for trying to fight for xeno goals using the only weapon that can inflict harm on liberty.

A cannon instead of nova torpedoes.
How much was it again, 200k each torp?
Doesn't that put us on about 2mil per stocked up ship?
Well, doesn't matter now, I deleted him before someone starts to really hate me for blowing up his navy tag capship.
I'll just go back to insane Omega world where I spend half of my time trying to pirate in pirate transport for sake of rp and fun and other half teaching new corsairs how to behave properly in Corsair space.

It sounds to me like they're looking more for PvP than for RP.

It may suck, but unless you have a really... Really convincing reason/story behind it, I don't want to see a Xeno in a ship from a company based out of Rheinland. Maybe they should have chosen a different team before signing up to civvie ships and Nova torps. *sigh* Oh well... That really doesn't apply, which is why we're all posting here.

There's been extensive debate over the Xenos and their Taiidans, of which they have relatively few in comparison to the Preagle (I think there are only four). As for Supernovas, it's essentially generic technology. The Nova Torpedo is a suicide weapon, and I dare you to fly a bomber for 24 hours into PvP situations and not blow yourself up every other time. That thing isn't effective anyways, tests were done showing that it didn't have the destructive power necessary to destroy a Battleship in the same way a Supernova can. The Xenos also like to raid Detroit Munitions convoys and pick up guns, which is most likely where they get their Supernovas. Anybody who argues that Ageira does not manufacture the Supernova has not recently looked at the Liberty/Bretonian/Kusari/Rheinland/(Your Non-Order-Aligned Faction Here) Militaries, all the pirates, and so on and so forth. Pick one at random. Chances are they're not Order-friendly, but are using the Supernova anyways. It's sold on Arranmore, come on.

Ok kiddos... have you ever tried flying around in liberty using bomber that don't have the tools to do the job...

Its known as suicide. The SN is considered to be universal equipment, usable by everyone... and until the next version of the mod (where we will all be getting our own version of it) it will continue to be so.

The taiidan... well we xeno's don't like it all that much, however... We do only operate in the system that has the highest number of capships per head that you will ever see.

We roleplay endlessly. Infact quite frequently my Xeno will fly into NY and sit 30k above everyone and mouthe of about them gosh-durned foriegn scumbags, for hours. and I love it. However we get almost daily occurences of BHG BC's sat outside ouray, which essentail means we can't play at all if we don't have an effective bomber.

So sure yeh, take away all our bombers, go for it... But soon enouigh there won't be any xeno roleplay, cos there won't be any xeno's.

Hehehe... that's definitely some good evidence. Other side of Sirius, and in the hands of some little separatist movement? I think the Xenos can use it.

Sorry, maybe I overreacted bit magoo, but seriously.. Torpedoes over snova cannon cheaper?
And I believe that with the guard system, huge base in it, and other bases in sirius Xeno faction can afford 15 supernova cannons spread around the 15 (if even that much) xeno players on this server.

Maybe next time when XA pops in liberty they should insult people or play country music until liberty dies. I mean, why pick on the smallest and one of better factions in Sirius over such small matter when you have entire Liberty space to look at first.
