The followers of the code are a group of pirates who have understand that they need to work together in order to succeed.
Being hunted by militaries and police forces inside of house systems, and by bounty hunters and mercenaries in and outside the house systems, their chances to defend themselves are heavily increased when they strike in pack.
The story began like this:
THE REASON
"Mister Zane, are you breaking our contract because of those foolish Junkers?! Are you kidding me?!" "Miss Steel, you have to understand that we want to maintain our relationship with the Junkers. We don't care about your war, neither about what you and your family will do. Period." "Oh, mister Zane... Mister Richard Zane... Do you think your money makes you and your people invulnerable? You're so wrong!" Said Raven to Mr. Zane, laughing.
But the hate could be seen in her eyes. Her hands were shaking hard like they were prepared to grab the sticks and shoot everyone.
"This is it! I'm gonna rob them of their credits! I will make them cry! I want to see them down! Not affording even a civilian ship"
She said to her brothers who were worried not about her, because they were accustomed to her attitude, but because they had no other contract. So their days as bounty hunters were finished.
Raven transfered half of the family credits to her account, went to the hangars, charged her craft engines and flew away.
She had to watch her back because most pirates, some independent mercenaries and the Junkers knew her ship.
All of them wanted her dead. So Raven went to the Coronado system, avoiding all tradelanes and jumpgates.
She took the most dangerous jumpholes, but she finally arrived at Barrier Gate Station.
She rented a room on the base, thinking of staying hidden a while. She were so angry and confused...
MAKING NEW FRIENDS
That morning Raven woke up, looked in the mirror and said to herself: "Okay Raven, think! What do you have to do?"
She was sitting at the table in front of her computer and started to make a plan, writing down all the steps which she had to follow. "Okay... So... I need to change my appearance. Some operations will do!"
She kept thinking while tapping the table with her hands. She was so agitated. "I definitely need a faster craft. A light fighter?!"
She asked herself in her mind. "Nah... I need something stronger with more hull and firepower. Maybe with more cargo space too."
Looking out the window, she saw a Rheinland looking craft approaching the docking bays. "That's it!"
Raven dressed up fast and went to the bar, thinking that, hopefully, the guy who owns that vessel appears.
It was her lucky day; not only did the guy show up, he wanted to trade his ship and some credits for a Firefly.
She talked to the guy and offered him double what the guy demanded. So she had a new ship. A used one, but still usable.
The guy offered her the manual of the ship too, but it was in Rheinlandish language. Raven had to translate the whole manual but she didn't find all the words. She managed to make the ship work at 90% capacity. She was happy with that.
After a few days without being in space, she got depressed and went to the bar where she met Robert Garcia, a Hispanic
smuggler. A smuggler who was chased by her in the past. "Ay caramba! You're a bit too far from your home, senorita!"
Raven remained silent not even looking at who was talking to her. "A bloody hunter alone, on freelancer's base! The place where the murderers and pirates meets the law follower!"
And he started to laugh.
All people who was in the bar at that time turned their heads and looked at Raven. "Bartender, a bottle of wine and two glasses for me and for senorita right here, si?"
And Robert sat down at the same table as Raven, in front of her. "Ay caramba! What are you doing here alone? This port is dangerous for hunters like you!"
Said Robert while the bartender came to the table with wine and glasses.
Raven glanced at him and said: "If you'll touch me with only one finger, I swear I'll cut your head off and I'll keep it in my cockpit as trophy" "Calm down, senorita! I'll not harm you, eh! I just saw you alone and depressed... What's the problem with you?"
Asked Roberto while pouring wine in the glasses.
Raven, being lost in her thoughts, told him everything she felt and she was about to do.
She was so depressed that she didn't care about the consequences of her words.
Roberto listened to her with attention. "Ay caramba! Are you going to change the path, senorita?
You can't survive as an outlaw out there! You need more amigos! Comprende?" "All I need is to change my look... I don't need more friends..."
She said, sighing.
Roberto, standing up, tapped on Raven's shoulder and said: "Go and sleep amiga! Tomorrow will be a long day for you. A very long day"
He smiled, went to the bar to pay the bill and left.
After only ten minutes, Raven decided to give the smuggler guy a chance, even if she didn't know too much about him.
She pushed herself up and went to her room.
The problem with those kind of free ports is that the windows have eyes and the walls ears.
In the bar were a guy. A guy who stood at the table in a corner, apart from other people.
But he had heard the whole discussion between Raven and Roberto.
This guy, his real name Jack White, was a thief. But a smart one.
He hijacked a bretonian liner alone and asked all the people aboard to leave it in escape pods.
Jack ran after Raven and shouted at her: "Hey girl! Hold on!"
Raven stopped and turned at him. "What do you want, stranger? You want a piece of me too?"
She asked him, ready to fight, taking defensive position. "Hey stay calm, I just want to talk to you!"
He said while putting his hands in the air. "I don't wanna listen your words, stranger!"
She said and kept walking towards her room. "I've heard your discussion with the Hispanic guy, I can help you!" "I don't need your help!" "But I know a doctor in aesthetic surgery."
Raven's mood changed suddenly and she turned to Jack. "Tomorrow at 9A.M. in the hangars. See you there!"
FIRST DAY AS PIRATE - THE BIGGEST REWARD
Raven was sitting in front of her computer all night looking at what she wrote. It was almost 9AM. "Maybe the smuggler was right. I need more friends." She said to herself and went to the hangars.
There, already waiting for her, was Robert, the Hispanic guy. "Hola senorita! You've decided to listen to me, eh?"
He said to her, smiling. "I have nothing to loose. But I still don't trust you. So watch your moves!" "Ay caramba! If I wanted you dead it was enough to make a sign.
Outcasts are mi amigos, and yesterday were many of them at the bar. I want to help you! Calm down!"
Then Jack White said while leaning on Raven's ship, behind them: "And I'm here to join you. I already have new papers for her and, when she's ready, the doctor waits for her on Freeport 6." "A doctor?! What for?!"
Asked Robert curiosity. "I already told you that I need to change my look, uhm... what's your name?"
She asked looking at Robert. "Caramba senorita! You were paid for taking me down and you don't even know my name?! Robert Garcia. But call me Vertigo!"
He told her laughing. "I'm Jack. Jack White. You may call me Jackie the Thief." "Okay lads. I'm Rav..."
She stopped for a moment. "I'm Kamikazee."
She said smiling. "Forget about my real name." "I'll show you how traders fear the bombers. They run from Nova torpedoes like they are chased by an ugly woman."
Said Vertigo laughing. "Novas?!"
Asked Jack astonished while laughing. "I'll show you how the antimatter cannon works, lad! I'll grab my bomber!" "Okay, okay, heroes! First of all I need to visit that doctor. I'm too well known by pirates and I will need their bases."
Said Kamikazee.
And they embarked in their vessels and launched into open space.
They entered in formation and set the autopilot to Freeport 6, Tau-29 system.
The autopilot led them through Baffin system.
Only 15 kilometers from the Tau-29 jump hole, they saw a bright light and then a prison liner appeared. "Here we go! Our first target!"
Vertigo said. "Whooo hooo! We've got a winner here! Cut your engines lad!"
Jackie said on open local channel.
The captain of the liner responded:
"This is Captain John Smith speaking. State your reason for asking me to keep my engines down." "This is a piracy act, idiota! Don't move your ship otherwise we will open fire!"
Robert said through local channels. "Hell yeah! We will take even your dirty panties!"
Jack said, laughing. "I suggest you keep your distance! Crew, to the battle stations!"
John shouted.
Kamikazee, after scanning his ship, said: "Hold on guys! I see something interesting here!"
Then Jack and Vertigo stopped their vessels being ready to disrupt the liner's engines in case John wanted to run. "Hey mister Smith, I've detected some shiny equipment. And I'm not talking about the mounted one.
Tell me, where are you heading with that equipment and who paid you to transport it. Who owns that module?"
The captain of the liner remained silent for a few minutes. "C'mon baby, start speaking! And I hope you're going to tell the truth!" "Okay, okay... dock on my liner. Let's speak face to face. We are unarmed down here. But my liner has only two free bays." "Vertigo, you can't stop him. You come with me. Jack, stay out here. In case we're in trouble, open fire! But try to hit his engines first." Kamikazee said to her wingman on a secure channel. "Okay captain, me and Vertigo are prepared to dock. Deactivate the shields."
And they both docked on the liner and met John Smith face to face.
After one hour of discussion a message was recived by the liner's radio on local channel: "Lads, are you okay down there?"
It was Jack, who was a little bit worried and very bored.
Kamikazee, using the liner's radio said to Jack to stay calm, because everything's fine.
Kamikazee and Vertigo made a deal with liner's captain who decided to offer a cloaking device for Kamikazee's ship and his ship at disposal in exchange for new papers and their confidence. John Smith wasn't just a simple captain of a prison liner.
He had a dirty business: helping prisoners to escape in exchange for credits. But his days as "business man" were gone.
Cops and militaries were after him. He decided to join Kamikazee's team.
John's crew mounted the cloaking device on Kamikazee's ship. They made a plan about how to go into Tau-29 without being spotted: "All good my friends. So, I can take both Vertigo and Jack with me.
You Kami, you can cloak and go to the Freeport. We'll meet you there."
Said John.
After Kamikazee undocked, Jack took her place in the liner and she cloaked her ship.
John did the same. They were like ghosts. Nobody could see them. And they went to Freeport 6 for Kami's operations.
THE CODE OF THE PIRATES
After six days of surgery, Kami woke up with a new face and new personality. She looked in the mirror and said: "Hah, I look better than before!"
And she laughed. She dressed up and went to the bar to find her new comrades.
When she arrived at the bar, even her friends looked at her like she was a stranger. She was unrecognizable.
Kami went to them and said: "What? Don't you recognize me now?"
And she started laughing. "Ay caramba! Kami, is that you? Dio Santos, marry me!"
Said Vertigo astonished.
And they all started to laugh and drank for Kami's new look.
The next day they launched from Freeport 6, cloaked their ships and went all the way down to New York system, Rochester base.
A few days later, all of them being at Rochester bar had a serious discussion:
"Lads, let's forget about our past. This is a new beginning for us as a crew, as a family. We need to trust in eachother.
If one of us is down, the others should help him, or her in my case she said laughing, to get up!
Nothing should stay between us and nothing should stop us. We will get rich by robbing those rich bastards.
Corporations have more credits than an independant trader.
We could take their cargo too, but only the commodities with high value."
Said Kamikazee. "You are right, amiga! But most important, we should work as a team. The unity gives us strenght."
Completed Vertigo. "Then lets write down some rules."
Said Jack. "I have a better idea, let's tattoo them on our skin. So we'll never forget them."
Completed John while smiling.
And they decided what the tattoo should contain:
1st rule: Pirates never attack fellow pirates. We need more friends, not more enemies. 2nd rule: Be loyal to the community. We need to trust in each other. 3rd rule: Never enter another pirate's house without asking for permission. They might ask you to walk the plank. 4th rule: Share your prey with the community. The community will share with you. 5th rule: Don't act like a hero. You are useless dead. 6th rule: Remember that 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing. We need dosh, not confirmed kills. 7th rule: Test a fellow pirate before you bring him into our house. He might be our enemy. 8th rule: Don't talk too much when it's unnecessary. We bite, we don't bark. 9th rule: Never think about robbing poor people. Let them to become rich first. 10th rule: And the most important: we are pirates, not warriors. Run for your life if you can't fight back!
In present, they are pirating Sirius-wide and looking to recruit new members to their family.

To bring a plus of Roleplay to the community.
We ask people who wants to join us to write down a short story about their characters about how their characters met our characters.
Would be better if you search for us in game and start the story based on how we RP with you in game.
We do accept positive and negative feedback either.
NOTE: We know there are official factions dying. Don't ask us why we don't join an official faction. Our wish is to push indie pirates to RP more than "2milordie" even if they are asking for high sums.
I'll update the page with more info if something is missing.
Thank you for your time!
i like this idea. Its more or less what Morbius, Vispilio and i have done too. Ok we are a more closed group, but the idea is good. It will give others also more pleasure in the piracy acts and maybe even towards traders it will be some more roleplay.
see you guys in the skies

Thank you for feedback!
I have to say that more than 60% of traders are roleplayng. Some more some less. But they does. I want to see more roleplay from lawful indies.
If you and your friends will decide to join us and follow the Code, you're welcome!
I also love your idea and the RP what you're doing in space (yes, we've already met, I was just on a different char). Shamefully more and more traders are trying to avoid RP, maybe this will help to increase their skills.
Also thank you for the warm welcome, tho we'd like to stay as a small group as it is now. It's not a prefix, what connects us after all is it?
However. Due to we kinda have the same noble goals...personally I'd be glad working with you, even unto make an alliance -if you'd like, too of course-.
So, Gentlemen, all I have to say is that keep up the good work!

Rorry, you are making confusion between inRP and OORP stuff. Definitely we pirate for money inRP, but OOC thinking it's another thing. If we want credits, we'll go mining or trading.
I like this concept a whole lot - the light tone, the focus on newbie-friendlines/just having fun and the base-building bit (Disco really needs a pirate cove of some sort).
Would you be interested in signing up on the bounty board, either as a group or as individuals, to gain the favour of Rogues and other "hosts", as well as score a few extra credits?
I don't mean mercing of the PVP-whoring kind, but "light" mercenary work. Cashing in on those that come your way to claim your scalp anyways and making friends with relevant pirate factions in the process.

That will be great, but as far as I know Pirate ID isn't allowed to claim bounties. We will have our bounty board soon enough. I just need to organize the group. Most of them are new guys who can't aim properly. Their fighting skills are below Disco standards.
All I want now is to make them pirate for fun, to RP the fear when the navy shows up and so on. They need more time to get used to Discovery. I put my whole trust in them and I hope to lead them to the correct path.
I don't have leader abilities, so it's a bit hard for me. But I'll do my best. If I'll fail, I'll be happy with the thought I've tried.
Thank you for positive feedback and I hope to interact with you in game and forums as well.
Pirate ID can collect bounties. All IDs can, they are not allowed to go and seek out targets, but if they get the kill, then can claim in the board so long as they are signed up.
This is due to a rule that was edited only recently, which is why many people may be unaware of it.
