Target: Red Hessian Army Subject: An offer of friendship Priority: Low Konnichiwa, true army of the Rheinland people.
My name is Himura Suzume. I'm the spokeswoman for The Pirate Committee, who represents a group of unaffiliated pirates. We contact you because we hope to reach a mutual state of friendship between us to prevent any unnecessary conflict that might jeopardize our separate goals.
Goals that may be different, but targets that aren't. We mainly prey on big, bloated and corrupt corporations. We are not terrorists and do not aim to put Rheinland civilians in danger.
Our main area of operation is not within Rheinland space. But in the case that we hunt, or get hunted, into your area of influence, we'd like to have your graces to enter.
As safe havens for ones such as us are hard to come by, access to facilities where we can rest, repair and have a drink would be highly appreciated. I'm referring mostly to Vogtland Base in Dresden and Freital Base in Omega-11.
I hope we can come to an agreement. I can be accessed via this Comm-ID for any questions or requirements you might have that can help foster a lasting friendship. Anything will be taken into consideration. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
Frau Suzume you're essentially requesting docking rights to some of our
installations, no more and no less. Given the limited information on the
organization you represent that doesn't particularly make you any different
from everyone else with such a similar request, nor does it make you a friend
of the Red Hessian movement, but since it is an organization you represent we
require further and more detailed information regarding the potential activities
of this organzation that may occur in Rheinland space and the Omega sectors.
We also request that you clearly define your area of operation.
Now as for friendship mein Fräulein, I will be frank. The Red Hessian Army rarely
if ever had positive experiences with pirate groups of all varieties in the past
and the Oberkommando at the time being is inclined to deny your request to access
the aforementioned installations. As a friendly gesture of my own, I suggest that
you provide us with as much additional information about your organization as
possible and also any possible offer you may have which might interest the
revolutionary council for the time being, so this matter can be looked into
more deeply rather than being dismissed right off the bat.
Target: Major Karl Leitner Subject: Re: An offer of friendship Priority: Low Konnichiwa!
I am glad to hear from you, Major and I am grateful that you are willing to give us the benefit of the doubt. I will try to bring clarity to any questions you have.
Our area of operations shift on a daily basis. This is, as you can probably understand, to elude the ones hunting us and to capture the ones trying to avoid us. We mostly operate in house space but we have pushed into the Taus as well. The only house space where we have not yet operated has been within Rheinland, as we do not like to enter uninvited.
As for what kind of operations we would conduct in Rheinland and the Omegas, the answer is probably just as simple as you have guessed, pirating. However, I want to make it clear that The Pirate Committee abhor acts against the less fortunate. Our primary targets are the large, greedy and corrupt corporations. And from what I understand, we should see eye to eye on that.
I realize that it may have sounded like we requested access to your facilities while offering nothing. And the fact is, we have little to offer. My main goal in my communique to you, however, was not to request access to the stations mentioned but to let you know that we wish for a friendly relationship between us.
As we have little resources other than the ships we pilot, the only thing I can offer is monetary gains and efforts. Were you to accept our offer, and allow us to ply our trade in Rheinland space, we could either donate a cut of any spoils earned in your area of influence to further your goals, or simply have a standing arrangement with a monthly payment.
We would also revise one of our ideals. We normally try to not overcharge when we do what we do. We have found that it either makes the victims stupid or makes them put more pressure on the law enforcement to remove us. This rule of ours could exclude the companies of Daumann Heavy Construction and Kruger Mining.
I look forward to your answer and want to make it clear that we seek your grace to operate in Rheinland space and the Omega sectors. Access to any installations is something that is of secondary concert to us. I also want to make it clear that were we to agree on a solution, I still do not see Rheinland becoming our main area of operations.
The Oberkommando will be re-discussing your request.
Please stay patient and refrain from retransmitting your message. We will get back
to you when a final decision is made. Also, it may effect the votes in your favor
if you stay out of Hessian space for the time being.
