Magellan, as stated before, is a border system between Bretonia and Liberty, and is patrolled by both houses (mainly the navy keeping an eye on things). IMG also has a stake in the system, at Freeport 4.
If you build a base there without notifying the houses, and a patrol happens upon it, then it would be considered a potential threat to the security of both houses. As a result, the response by those houses is a short ultimatum and fine (to prevent the base owner from building up to prepare for a siege), and in some cases, an immediate destruction. Frankly, I find that perfectly normal. Unknown/unregistered base? Pirate hive -> Destroy it. That you failed to do some research before plopping down a huge investment is, frankly, player error, not a rule violation of any kind.
And no, there are to my knowledge, no systems in Discovery that do not fall within the sphere of influence of any faction. The deep Omegas and Taus come close, but you still have the Hessians/Corsairs (omegas) and Outcasts/Gauls (Taus) to deal with.

If we find your unregistered base, it will be blockaded when possible and, as you were told many times, the suppliers treated as smugglers.

I was rather confused by the multiple threads you had made NoMe, so once I was told by Liberty that you'd missed the deadline, we all mobilised.

In fairness, that line in the laws is unclear - it means we had yet to talk to Liberty about setting a joint system. This will be clarified eventually

As you have found out, there was an option that involved not playing. Unfortunately this results in the destruction of your base.

As I say to most of the bases who have made them "their home", there are a lot of options for places to live. If you are an IMG in Magellan, take a room on FP4. If you are a Zoner, live on any of the 20 or so stations all over Sirius that belong to them.

In your case you feel you have been mistreated by other player inRP, yelling to admins wont do any good, since no server rule have been broken, I suggest you post an RP thread about your case, hire a lawyer or sue liberty government inRP.
If you think I just talking rubbish here, you are definitely wrong, I was the owner of Malioboro Station in New Tokyo system, the first Malioboro was built only 9k from allowed zone, so I moved it inRP, I built the new base and destroy the old one, I lost around 500 Million in the process and hundred of hours, but hey, it was fun
And If I may quote

sure it's always good to learn how the others are with you
Hey I don't know why you sent me those weird messages since I wasn't in the siege but anyway The Admins think it isn't against the rules and many agree so all you can do now is make peace about it and next time think before you act...Greetings from LNS-Enterprise....
Unfortunately this sounds like it was probably the work of indie LNS-, and not the [LN]. If the "Liberty Government" authorized your base to be there, the [LN] would not have destroyed it, as we listen to such things.
Independent Navy players however, are not obliged to obey such things, due to the fact that unfortunately, independent Naval players are -not- controllable by Official factions, and can basically do whatever they please, so long as they aren't violating server rules.
It's a mixed bag of bad situation, and opens a whole new discussion topic, but it is also the likely cause for the destruction of your base, if in fact it was "Authorized by the Liberty government" beforehand.
LolRawr, in this case we had GRNRaptor passing on Asgardian's orders which was why I showed up on my HMS. There are a lot of LNS, a couple of [LN] and a lolwut =LSF= cruiser flown by a certain someone
I went by your lot's word on the thing, seems it was ok to destroy the base but that doesn't mean NoMe will be quiet about it.
One last thing about the bases.
I think I read that the government allowed everyone to build a base in Liberty, but wanted to be informed at the first upgrade. Perhaps it is necessary (lol), to clarify the status of Magellan, and freedom Right Business, in your beautyfull home!
NoMe
PS I can give you the coordinates of the new necessary in Magellan, it's in C5! (re LOL)

GRNRaptor was given the go for it from Asgardian, so him, Reaper and I went down, collected some indes, and blew it up. We even invited some HMS
