,, At this moment, you are nobody, nothing more than a maggot squirming in a rotten apple, the life you had before coming here is of little importance. It is what you do from now onward that matters for me, it is what you do from now on that will define you, because from this day onward you begin a new life, a life of freedom brought by me. You are a Brigadier now, make me proud. ’’ – quote from Aleister Corke to one of the convicts who joined the Brigade
Lore
The Warhound Brigade is a paramilitary, covert unit composed mainly of ex-convicts, criminals, pirates and other law breakers who were either released, either ransomed from prison, or simply thought of putting back their law breaking life and fighting for a "better” cause – as bringing death for securing the so called peace is better than wishing death, disturbing it -, a cause which would often need the same means they used before adopting it.
This unit found itself under the direct command of the Guild Core until recently, yet Brigade Master Aleister ,,Corvus” Corke, the commander of Warhound Brigade observed that the situation among the Core and it’s decrease of activity was "different from the Brigade’s interests“ and so, he has decided to lead the Brigade on a different path, but still keeping their loyalty towards the Guild Core.
Now, at this moment, the Unit’s primary objective is to bolster up it’s size due to it’s low manpower. In order to do this, it’s leadership is undergoing the hectic move of makings ends meet and doing whatever necessary to accomplish this objective. Also, due to it’s current situation, the Brigade is looking forward into acquiring an income source of its own.
History of the Brigade
818 AS
Long time has passed after the incident of Toledo, incident which left the Warhound Brigade almost decimated with its entire force cut down. Only one member was left and it was the Second in Command Aleister Corke. With the opportunity to pursue his own interests he quickly assumed the position of Brigade Master and it now struggling to rebuild the Brigade through unconventional methods.
In 818, Brigade Master Aleister Corke found a peculiar individual named Gregory ,,Axis" Tanner. These two had developed a bond of trust and seeing the skills in diplomacy and negotiations Axis has, Corke had decided to enlist him as the new Second in Command.
Meanwhile, Corke secured deals with the Bretonian Police Authority and the Rheinland Federal Polizei. With these deals, Warhound Brigade secured a constant supply of manpower by using parolees and ex-convicts from prisons of the above mentioned parties.
With this not being enough, the Brigade formed a contacts under the influence of the Core's most hated rival, the Order, in the hope of acquiring sensible information. Moreover, diplomatic relations had been conducted with organizations like The Phoenix or Interspace Commerce.
A number of reconnaissance missions were conducted in Omicron Mu, each ended with the acquisition of data at the cost of a great number of ships. Still, with the help of the main fleet, the Warhound Brigade spearheaded alongside the BHG|Core a great victory right into the home system of the Order known as Omicron Mu
The Warhound Brigade established first contact with an AI society or group known as the Gamussian AIs. Investigation showed up that they are actively engaging and defending against nomads. The Brigade used this motive as a well earned opportunity and thus, the Brigade formed an alliance with the Gamussian AIs thus, securing a weak income of resources to build their ships as well as support against the Nomad threat
Goals:
Current:
Increasing its manpower size and acquiring an income source.
Main:
Providing surgical as well as direct strikes on the Guild Core’s enemies.
Gathering Nomad Intel and Nomad Technology in any way possible for their own use.
Gathering Intel on the Order for the purpose of acquiring adapted nomad technology aswell aswell as gaining an upper hand in the CORE – Order conflict.
Secondary:
Releasing captive key contacts from prisons to boost the Brigade’s resourcefulness.
Rookie: A new recruit of the Brigade, either a convict who chose the right side of the coin or someone who seeks ,,blood money earned legally” (Restrictions: Fighters/Bombers)
Brigadier: The usual member of the Brigade, recognized for his skills and loyalty. These are the unit's backbone and main force in all operations. (Restrictions:Fighters/Bombers)
Veteran Brigadier: As the title implies, the Veteran Brigadier is generally the more experienced and though Brigadier. He/she has earned the trust and abilities required to use a wider range of arsenal (Restrictions: Fighters/Bombers, Special Permission: Gunboats)
Warden: The Warden is a veteran operative inside the Brigade. He/She is an example to the Brigadiers and Rookies below him/her. The Warden is usually instructed with leading small scale operations: Reconnaisance, Surgical Strikes and other kinds of missions. (Restrictions: Fighters/Bombers/Gunboats, Special Permission: Cruisers)
Executor: As iron hands of the Brigade Master, these individuals with one of the highest ranks are the logistic and diplomatic overseers. They tend to all important matters and ensure that the Brigade Master's plans are always completed. Being the Iron Grip of the Brigade Master, the Executors are usually tasked with keeping the order and discipline among the Brigade( a hectic job considering than more than half of the members are ex-convicts) and also the diplomatic business of the Brigade. (Restrictions: Fighters/Bombers/Gunboats/Cruisers, Special Permission: Battleships)
Brigade Master: The leader of the Brigade, he is the person who takes care of all the Warhound Brigade’s duties and actions, making sure the others work towards the goals, but also ensuring their victory. The members among the brigade know him well for his manipulative and charismatic personality aswell for his opportunism assesing any profitable occasion exactly like a raven who spots a dead carcass thus he won the nickname of ,,Corvus” (Restrictions: N/A)
Operations and Diplomacy
Technology
The Warhound Brigade is adapted to using all kinds of ships, but with an emphasis on fighters and bombers. The use of Capital Vessels is kept to a minimum due to the Brigade’s preference on covert/surgical operations and also the destruction of a significant part of the capital ships in the Toledo Incident.
The Warhound Brigade is known to be using Core tech as well as Civilian tech sometimes. It is possible for a brigadier to gain tech from one of the Brigade’s allies through special permission from both the Brigade Master and the respective faction
Zone of Influence
The Brigade is looking to extend its influence over the entire serious by arranging key contacts, deals, and ,,friendships”.
Despite of that fact, the Brigade’s primary zone of operations remains the areas covering the Omicrons and Omegas where most of the Brigade’s operations against its enemies are being held.
Thus, its Zone of Influence is spread according to this chart:
Primary Zones of Influence (Where the Brigade is most likely staging its vantage points and organizing itself and also the place where one will encounter heavy patrols and inscreased presence of the Brigade)
Omicron Delta, Omicron Zeta and Omicron Kappa
Secondary Zones of Influence (Occasional Reconnaisance and Strike Mission aswell as other kinds of operations)
Omicron Iota, Omicron Gamma, Omicron Alpha, Tau-23, Omicron Mu
Tertiary Zones of Influence (The Brigade will be less likely to be seen in those systems unless under special conditions/missions or events)
The rest of the Omegas and the Omicrons, some Taus
Diplomacy
Note: Due to the fact that the Brigade is sustaining it's main manpower source with agreements of giving parolees made with certain Police Factions, the Brigade is dependable on this manpower source and therefore, dependable on their good relations with the other Houses Police Authorities they have struck this agreement with, and so, the Brigade is permanently looking into maintaining good relations with them

Do you have a Recruitment channel?
Because i would like to join ya.
Currently, the Recruitment channel is under development, waiting for some introductory RP before doing it. But, if you want to, i'm sure we can arrange it one way or another

I like this idea, since the original Core is practicaly dead as it is.
And it would be a shame to waste away such a great faction,Order| would likely go bonkers without them
Allrighty, where is the join button here.
As soon you guys get everything sorted out,I'm dusting of my old Manta and joining you.
Until then, best of luck with this.
Once I get the thread answered, you can RP some recruits as parolees and those doing 'community service' instead of being imprisoned in Bretonia.
As I've said on Skype, your idea is pretty cool and will hopefully give the Order some more targets to shoot in the Omicrons. Maybe more Nomads too (K'Hara or otherwise)...
Well, the faction is mainly similar to the general BHG|Core, so it would sound dull at first... but then, considering the whole Lore and the really interesting RP on which this faction is basically formed, i'd say it's rather unique and amazing.
As long as it gives some activity to those that need it (obviously the Order), then i wish only the best to it.
Well, I wish to thank you all guys for the positive feedback you laid out in here. And I also want to thank you Summer for the agreeing on helping me establish the RP for the faction lore I wish on making
That being said, a Recruitment thread has been posted and it can be found here
Some opinions regarding it will be welcomed as well also, it is subject to change.
On a sidenote, for those you somehow want to join the faction and don't want to make a parolee-char, that is possible, but... I'm not gonna tell you how I'm planning to reward creativity xd ( we could arrange something through ingame/forum RP and comm channel forum)

Didn't knew that you were running this new core group. Was about time that someone made something new out of it.
Met you yesterday and it was a nice encounter. Wish you the best for the future.
