So, I have a idea. How about adding armor to NPCs so we are balanced (higher level missions will have NPCs that carry UAU8) or like this chart, which it may be added.
1-3 = No armor
4-6 = UAU1
7 = UAU2
8 = UAU3
9-10 = UAU4
11 = UAU5
12-14 = UAU6
16-18 = UAU7
19 = UAU8
This only applies to fighters, but would be necessary for battles. But server owner can change if level applicable to apply UAU or CAU, so it may be fair. But if one add these, you would say its challenging. So now for capital ships with diff levels of:
If payout of mission is:
1 million = No armor
1.1-1.2 million = HAU1
1.3-1.4 million = HAU2
1.5 million = HAU3
1.6-1.7 million = HAU4
1.8-2.1 million = CAU5 (at the time when NPCs get cruiser)
2.2-3 million = CAU6
3.1-4.5 million = CAU7
+4.5 million = CAU8
To prevent complaining, server owner can change whether to use CAU on NPCs so, the main server is disabled this feature.
What's the point of that? It only wastes more of my time shooting at them.
They can already use regens which can be annoying at times. (imagine UAU8 NPC Titans 8| )
So in short,no,I don't want NPCs to have 2.5 times more nanobots.
Go to the Discovery of Discovery server. They have AU 8 Broadsword bombers.
Takes forever to kill them since they come in swarms.
To prove my point, I'll bring up the IMG NPCs in Tau-23. They are Lhotses with class 9 Vampires and Debs that come in groups of 4 or more. They can make a huge difference in a fight against even a gunboat.
Now imagine them with AU8s.
No. AUs on NPC swarms are just downright scary. Maybe give them a low armor upgrade in Guard systems, but not during missions.
NPCs already has unlimited core, more armor will makes missions horrible. Sorry, but no for this one.
Some of factions already has lack of low-difficultnes missions to rep well without meeting GB waves, like OC had in Beta system for example (I rly miss it Q_Q)
