Well, hello!
I've decided to try to change my main disco activity, coming from YARRHARRing to some more lawful. However, house police doesn't look so good:"Stop right there, criminal scum! Scum docked at nearest base". And military's just same YARRHARRing, but only against other houses. So bounty hunting.
Only 2 IDs capable of full-scale bounty hunting: Freelancer and BHG. BHG has their own nice shipline(and gunline) and have 90% access to some house shiplines. Freelancer, oppose to that, can fly nearly every ship in sirius, but with significant nerf.
But I'm really stuck with ship. If I'll take GB-I'll be only able to kill other GBs and transports, cause GB's rather slow. Fighter is useful only against snubs(and in my hands only against noobs).
Bomber's power lies in groups. And bounty hunter(especially one, who's not member of BHG faction) works alone, cause most of bounty boards doesn't accept assisted kills. Lonely bomber can't take down any cap. And he's easy target for lighter bombers/fighters.
I thought about SHF, but both of IDs receive them only on 75%.
So need help of experienced hunters about IDs, best hunting zones, ships and loadouts.
Liberty has the most easy-target criminals. I would say that the Taus are beter hunting grounds, as the Outcasts are pretty active, and the IMG board pays well and on a timely basis (note, bunting is the second worst way to make money).
If you plan to hunt snubs (logical, as fighters and bombers are the most common bounty targets), either VHF or gunboat (read:contribute to the BNose spam) if you are alone. That GB is slow, but he is (and going to be eventually nerfed for being) too tough for fighters (unless there are at least three of them), too quick to be easily nova'd or snac'd (dont take on more than three), and a decent match for any gunboat. Run from caps though; let the navy handle them.
This said, bottlenose spammers are widely disrespected. So go Manta. Its very good VHF, well rounded against all it's foes.
The most important thing is, dont think of it as a way to make a lot of money. I run my hunters at a loss, I play them only to enjoy snarking at and pewing people. If you want money, mine or trade.
Im penniless, rotten in a fight, and have authority issues, but im back!
Most of the solo pirates use bombers, some use caps, some use gunboats, not many use fighters but you see them sometimes. The BHG bomber is a very good ship and if you can SNAC you will kill everything with it quickly. Otherwise the Manta will get you the most action, against the bomber pirates of which there are many. Hammerhead is also good but will come up short on firepower like all HFs. Both of the gunboats are decent. I have Manta, bomber, and gunboat, and use them all at different times.

But in Liberty I'll meet huge lolLNS capspam.
So, I understand, BHG ID's better for my goal. And I should take either Bnose(well, inRP there's no word disrespect), either BHG bomber (I guess, 4 pulses+1 hellfire+SNAC). So Bnose will go with BHG prims?
And I'm not going to earn huge amount of money by doing it. I can always go and powertrade.

Woah woah woah.
I'll have you know sir that I have only been shot down once my a hunter in my pirate ships. ONCE.
On more of a topic i suggest you go for a VHF such as the manta. If your soloing as a bomber you wont do so well unless you can snac on target 9/10 times. Plus a bomber against a Gunboat is not good. Gunboat will usually win.
I say stick with the fighter and don't hunt anything the size of a gunboat or higher.
For the money aspect, bunting is not really for cash unless you are really good at pvp. Its just fun
Indeed, hunting isnt really for cash, unless 1mill per day is enough for you.
And yes, go for a Manta, or some HF like Marauder. Or heck, if you have a Cap 8 or 7, buy Camara, put Reaver turrets on it, and if your good in GBs, you will be unstoppable in camara. As for Bombers, you need 9/10 hits on a target like Nomnomnom said. Liberys actually doesnt have easiest targets, some are very good. So go for a Manta or Marauder or Camara with good armor.

bonus: gamma, iota and mu raids! imo it is funnier and you dont go alone . at least not as often as with normal bhg
You've not catch my idea. I don't want ZOMGTEHCAPRAIDS, log all your BSs NOW. I've enough of them as hessian(well, since corsairs established their bases, little bit less)
I'm looking for something really different, not just changing side.
Meanwhile, 1 more question, tell me easiest way to have all house lawfuls on green cells.
Liberty pirate bombers are basically the barghest and that is easy to kill with BHG bomber *if* you can aim the SNAC
Green rep with house military can be had with a few missions to each house. That will also get you neutral rep with the house guard factions, so they wont appear red anymore. Or you can do double bribe to the house police factions, then /droprep and repeat the double bribe. That will get you green sympathy rep with the house military faction, but it wont do anything for the military guard rep.
Your targets will be in GBs very often and as this version is "Gunboat-lancer", you need a GB to counter them. If you are blessed with one of the most-OP GBs in this version, just take it and use it as long as it is still great.
The GB is THE tool of your trade. It kills all snubs easily, you can kill GBs and if it is a really inexperienced, low armor cruiser, you can do it also. You even can enter big pirate masses (see California sometimes) as you will be nearly unhittable and gunning away happily at them while fishtailing.
