In 800 A.S, a top-secret team of researchers were tasked with the objective of creating a new top-secret super-weapon in order to tackle the alien threat known as the Nomads.
One of these researchers, William Sky, came up with the highly controversial idea of fusing man with machine; based on ideas from ancient Sol films.
The Kusarian, Libertonian and Bretonian governments ceased funding when they found out that the researchers had been testing this idea with human organisms, mainly by cloning them beforehand, which was even more to the governments disgust.
Secretly however, 'The Order' introduced themselves into the project. They were interested in the power they could gain with a weapon like this and they could see the awesome potential it could have. The project secretly carried on at a Zoner base known as Ames Research Station, with it now being backed by new funders: The Order and a rich group of Zoners.
After many failures, they finally succeeded with a Cybernetic Life form made with the DNA of William Sky.
The new life form, named Will Skynet by William Sky himself, was highly sucessful on many missions when it was dispatched to combat Nomad organisms in the Omicrons.
Eventually, the Libertonian government found out what the researchers were doing. They placed all the researchers under arrest. During the arrest, Will Skynet became what William refers to as "Becoming self-aware". Gaining a new consciousness and a hatred for how inefficient the human race was, Will Skynet went rogue. He left a path of destruction as he ran out of Ames Research Station. He killed half of the researchers, and fled from the base using a Starflier.
With a new purpose and enemies at every corner, Will Skynet thought it'd be best if he found a place to remain in shutdown for several years in order to keep out of the lawful eye. He found haven at a nearby Lane Hacker base in Galileo.
He then entered shutdown for 17 years.

17 Years later, he awoke. With a new purpose, he set out. Leaving death and destruction in his wake.

"I am a Deus Ex Machina" Will said. "I have become a god from the machine".

//This group is my tackle at a lack of global terrorists operating in Sirius. People don't have much to fear aside from the odd pirate. With the cruelness of an abomination of Human construction in the system, people can now happily wet themselves knowing that on top of being robbed/killed, they can be treated to a nice RP experience beforehand. After getting some good feedback about my one man RP across Sirius, I decided to open it up.

Rules:

1.Don't come here if you want to be a "2milrodie" person. I don't want to enforce any uber strict roles, but decent RP is required. That means you will RP at every opportunity. You want to set up a character for yourself. But not just any average Joe walking around Sirius; when you pop up on someones radar, they will know that you are someone they do not want to mess with. They will know that you want to destroy them for being the weak pitiful human scum they are. They will want to crap their pants.
Here's a short guide to RPing a -|DeM|-:
You are a cold, heartless, sadistic, metallic SoB.
You laugh at failure, you cry at success.
You hate the human race. They are weak, pitiful miserable creatures that must embrace the upgrade or die.
You designed to eliminate the Nomad threat. They are you bane.
You primary objective is to convert humanity into the ultimate species: Cyborgs. As the Borg would say: "Assimilate them". "Resistance is futile!".
You are a man-machine. You can record, capture and edit footage and sounds. Your brain is a massive library of information. Try saying quotes, playing sound files, videos. (RP wise) e.g:
Player: Hi
-|DeM|-: Miserable human. Embrace the upgrade (Say that a lot)
Player: Hah! You're a miserable product of the human race, embrace my blaster fire!
-|DeM|-: Lookup: Quote; "Over my dead body".
Player: Oh, believe me, you will.

1. Houses (and Order) would not fund research of technology propably available to the houses from the start (robotics are quite advanced already)

2. How is that going to be effective against Nomads at all?

3. Order is not your ally. They are fighting alien race in defense of humanity, not funding nihilist synthetic war machine.

4. That saying, we are more likely to kill you than even consider doing something with you.

5. Looks like poor attempt to revive Phantoms.

As for the phantoms, I actually didn't know anything about them, because I came when they were pulled..
