Voting Polls are closed. There was some confusion in the beginning, but the first vote is always the biggest test run. Other new members please observe our senior members and how they go about their business dealing with the clan. Results are place below:
"Should the Xcalibur and Exodus project be shutdown?":
-Yes: 5
-no:7
Xcalibur and Exodus project will continue. Topic is now open for discussion.
I wish to make it clear, that I abstain from voting until the GANK agreement is ratified in writing.
Should the agreement be ratified, I will abstain from all votes where I am asked to vote FIRST without discussion on the matter at hand.
What point in discussion after the matter has been decided? If the matter has been decided, then I must follow whatever decision has been made regardless of my opinion of it. To do otherwise is to draw the charge of sedition.

A subject can still be discussed even after a decision is made. This is also a time to plan what the next course of action would be. Starting to get the picture? Good!

It seems like a very close poll in terms of yes and no's. I do say that speaks for something, and although this has been won by the other side, such a close call does mean a strong opposition to this outcome. I'd say we should strike a compromise: reducing the amount of capital ships in service, replacing them with a call for all capable and willing members to outfit their assault craft as quickly as possible. Both bomber and fighter types specifically.
I would also like to ask to return to the traditional naming scheme for gunboat and higher class ships as well, just like the Explorer I have outfitted is named after Shantar Island. The naming convention should be based on old Earth geographic locations around or in the Okhotsk Sea, in the same way it was since always.
I really hope we can preserve our heritage here. The Gas Mining Guild helped train the Blood Dragons into the superior pilots they are today, lets not forget about that and cultivate our small craft traditions.

I agree, our fighter tactics are far superior than the power of any capital ship. Capital ships indeed are limited and are authorized by council decision only. From there all members of the council must agree to put the ship in service. Vessels recieving a kusarian name is already in place.
