NoIP is just a free dns, it has nothing to do with ddos protection.

That's the problem, it shows the IP used for DISCO server in list. That's all they need to start a DDoS with a kiddy script, not exactly hard to get because it's listed right their, even if they change IP to another.

Noip is just a free dns server- it can't hide the server IP by design. If it did you could not connect to it.

The way to get rid of these kiddos is just filter their ips and make a script that would do that automatically; either admins are too lazy or idk.

I wasn't sure exactly what a DDOS attack was, so I read up on it.
I found out that the little I did know was correct.
DDOS stands for Distributed Denial Of Service.
Apparently there are several different types of DDOS attack.
What I read tells me that in some cases stopping a DDOS attack is NOT as simple as filtering IP's, as they can and often do come from multiple PC's at the same time.
