Not really easy mate, for a clock v clock with a Duo, the C2Q puts out more heat for the same overclock
(4 cores). So you can take a C2D to 4Ghz with a zalman 9700, but there'e no way you are going to achieve
that on a C2Q - more likely upto 3.2.

Again, never future proof your system, there is no such thing in the computer hardware industry.
It's all in the short term.... When Intel Nehalem launches this year end, the chipset will change again, you
can't upgrade CPU to next gen without changing board and RAM (if you are on DDR2 now).
