In the probabilitie to say other beings exist within the Galactic star sytems, is proven both by the Humans exodus to the Sirius system and the finding of the systems original inhabitants, the Nomads. a creation of a race known as the Dom'Kavash.
Thus brings us to the Yog-Sothoth
The Dom'Kavashi empire came across the primitive Magnokins and educated them, nurtured them, and guided them to full sentience. During this time, the Magnokin were servants of the Dom'Kavash. It is important to understand the vast difference between the Precursors and the Magnokins in terms of evolutionary status. The Dom'Kavash were as far advanced from the Magnokin as we are from mammals such as horses or other "beasts of burden." But as the Magnokins advanced, an increasing number of the Dom'Kavash objected to the servitude of the Magnokin Of course, like many moral debates, there was a practical side: the Dom'Kavash had grown quite dependent on the service of the Magnokin. But the Dom'Kavash came to a solution: they would task the Magnokin with expolartion and information gathering of other regions of the Galaxy and in hopes they would find new homes for themselves and flourish. It was at this time the Dom'Kavash begain to create the Nomads as they are known now, maybe to replace the Magnokin by beings of a created existance to circumvent the moral dileama's that occured because of the Magnokin. These new beings where tasked with careing for the Sirius sector and repelling any invaders.
But the Magnokins grew weary of thier travels and longed to return to the Dom'Kavash. But when the Magnokins returned a great bloodbath followed and the Nomads were victorious in almost every sense, as almost all the Magnokin were killed. Minus a handful the Dom'Kavash found pity on and sent in sleeper pods to drift for hundreds or possibly thousands of years until they reached thier reactivation point, a place still vaugely unknown to all but the Magnokin themselves. They now spend thier time exploreing space looking for traces of the Dom'Kavash, which cautiously brings them back into the Sirius sector to pursue one the last known links to the Dom'Kavashi empire, the Nomads.
The Magnokin are a highly developed race of gelatinous beings who use special exoskeleton suits to support themselves when outside their ships. Because the atmosphere on their planet was so very thin, they outfitted their suits with a special processor to simulate their natural homeworld conditions and to give themselves a more humanoid outward appearence as well as offer protection from enviromental and biological hazards to thier abnormaly thin membranes.
Much as with the nomads their main form of communication is via telepathic links, but in thier travels have realised not all beings are comfortable with such invasions of thier minds and instead use a universal voice codex emulator to communicate with.
//Now I'm sure thier will be some flak from this roleplay approach, but hey I wanna do something different, fly something different and as long as I stay within the RP and rules guidelines it should be okay. I fully realise some will accept me, some may fear that I'm merely a being infected by nomads, which is the furthest from the actual truth. ID determination has been a bear, the neutral aspects of the Zoner ID would fit perfectly but at the same time be limiting in in-game options. Thus I'll choose to be a merc for now as the ID seems more practical at least at this point in time.
Upon entering the Sirius sector, first observations note there are now a humanoid species known as "Humans" inhabiteing the planets. Theres has been no sign of the Dom'kavar nor thier created guardians. Maybe these humans have vanquished them ? Seems doubtful buy the looks of thier technology, or maybe something else has transpired to force the others out. Either way I will cautiously continue my exploration.
Mission Log 0000.02
Seems these humans are divided into many factions, some seem friendlier then others. Though my ship seems to bring much caution amongst them. Some have absurdidly refered me to being one of the guardians, quite fascinateing this species is. I should be approaching the Omegas soon, hopefully I'll find clues towards the others there.
Mission Log 0000.03
No such luck in Omega 41 , two factions at war seem to inhabit this region. I've learned that appearently in the humans originateing systems there was a great war and that these humans seem to be remnants of some of those who escaped on sleeper vessels. Each faction and sub faction seems to derive from these various sleeper ships and the cultures they preserved. Rumors of Artifacts haveing been seen in the Omnicron Gamma system have peeked my interest, maybe these will give me some clues. I should be arriveing there soon.
