Name Shadow Nightstalker (Why my mother named me that. i think its a family tradition that there is a shadow in ever nightstalker generation)

Finaly. the insurance payment went through. well not all the way. most of it was ate up with the lawyers. i mean 17 bloody years to claim payment on my old train. All because the stupid insurance tried to refuse payment for Nomad attack. There was nothing in the policy that forbade attack by unknown alien species. but i digress. had enough left over to get me a small ship. Piss poor handling, shields, and cargo space. but enough to get started. Time to hit the old mining game. I want a decent hold again. no truth be told i want my train back and i want the Nightstalker transport company (we deliver anywhere! ask us about our first time rates) to be a name to be reckoned with. Well enough for now. time to (UGG) mine me a new ship
By Odin's Sweaty armpits i HATE mining. i mean. blast the rock. blast another rock. blast yet another rock. sell. repeat. But i finally did it. got rid of that rhino and got me a Camara. still not my train but one step closer. Got a order for boron out to LD-14. and ship hull plates back to Baltimore ship yard. not the most glamorous of jobs but right now its paying the bills and letting me save up for my next step a Gull. Still not my train but it close.

Next step is my Albatross, Got a job from some science geeks on mahatten. they wanted some gaian wildlife to study. paying good money and i was lucky enough i had a source to supply them. By Thor's hammer the money was Not worth it. almost spent more in repairs than i made. Just because i beat that stupid General in the gallic navy in poker. and slept with his wife..... and his daughter..... and ok i shot him down when he came after me for the first two. now the entire navy had orders to shoot me on site. barley got out of Tau 31 alive. Never again. better these slow and steady boron runs. really need to find me some new customers. all my old ones are either gone or not taking my calls. i guess vanishing for 17 years will do that. But hay i paid them back for that missing load. anyway time to dock this baby and get that cargo pod patched up.
Was out exploring and i saw the weirdest thing. a small blue box with the word Police on it, spinning and whizzing by, i tried to tractor it and just could not lock into it. Altho it did stop. thinking it was a escape pod or some other survival ship i tried hailing it. a strange man in a Fez and a bow tie answered. told me all was well and don't worry before vanishing with this strange sound off all sensors including visual. Would swear i was hallucinating but my sensor logs and com logs show it was there. Wounder if i will even see this strange man in his spinning blue box again.
