You gotta ask the Americans for Brawl's gaming feeling.:P
I'm so gonna get the game. I borrowed Melee from a friend once, and man, that was an awesome piece of game. Hope Brawl is as good as Melee, perhaps even better.
Brawl is better than melee. They fixed the physics problems and added "Final Smashes" which I was sort of skeptical about at first, but on the whole they're great. My only complaint is with all of the third party characters, but Solid Snake is a nice addition.
Me favorite game, right now... Outside my PC of course.

I disagree on the final smashes. I find them too unbalancing. When a smash ball apears, the fight transforms in an item hunt. The winner kills everyone. Not my idea of smash brothers. Also, "all the third party characters" ? as far as i know, there are two, sonic and snake, both of which have been on Nintendo consoles. So I don't see the problem.
I am glad with the physics change though. It's good that wavedashing became impossible.
As a whole, i think i find Brawl about as good as Melee. The story mode is a nice addition, but i'm annoyed by things like the smash balls and the dragoon. Luckily one can just turn items off.

Have to agree about the final smashes. We usually have it turned off in our matches.
The ability to wager on online games and watch them is good though. A nice way to while away some time and see some battles.
Overall, I'd honestly prefer they had left some of the fighting system from melee. (wave-dashing, single airdodge, etc)
Still going to get it though, once I have the cash....
