Map thing?

I Recently herd of a program that has a map of the freelancer universe in it, or somthing like that, i also heard that it can calculate trade routes. can someone help me out?

But seriously, it isnt that hard to find things here. I've only had to ask a couple of times where a specific thing was, and in those two cases it's because they were way off the beaten path.

Just tonight, in about an hour, I discovered half a dozen new systems and twice as many jump holes. All while cruising around talking to people in group chat.

Go slap a discovery scanner onto a nuetral-ish ship and check things out for yourself. Most of the jump hole/station placement is fairly logical, you wont have to fly 100k out from something to find whatever it is you're after.

While I never used the companion myself, keep in mind it isn't entirely accurate in telling you the "best" trade routes.

It doesn't take things like time, danger.. etc into account as far as I know. It will probably tell you to fly through 5 guard systems....

Yup zipping around,Trading as you go, has mapped me 99% of the system. Only ship's i have not found are nomad/keeper ship's(obvious reason's) and the outcast dread.(have no idea where that monster is, even my outcast has not found it).I have no desire to use it(i already own my 1 allaowed BB),and i guarantee no 1 will tell you.:)

Right, folks, its a useful tool. I use it myself. Its great, it has kept me making profits on In RP routes, rather than running the diamond Niobuim run, and if he wanted the very best route, he would never have asked. He'd have gone and run diamond niobuim.

How is it cheating? How? And even if it is cheating, who's he competing against, here?
